In the past two weeks I have experienced some of the most disturbing dreams I have ever dreamt.
Dream "one" - I found myself in what appeared to be a slaughter house/meat processing plant. The building was old, unfamiliar, seemed to be all metal and there was a lot of rust around the air vents. There was this conveyer belt of sorts - the type that they hang skinned cattle on to be inspected and processed. Instead of cattle there were human bodies on hooks. It was as if the bodies were on their way to be embalmed and fixed up for their funerals. Blood was trickling out of their necks. I don't remember if there was anyone there with me or not, I want to say that there were people around. After these images, I woke up.
Dream "two" - I was in the woods and there was snow around, probably a foot of snow. There was blood in the snow on a bank. An ATV was speeding off into the woods. I came across someone that I knew in my dream, but have no idea about in reality. This male figure was injured and somehow, I killed him to take him out of his misery and suffering. He was evidently the husband of a familial figure, like an aunt, but not one that I recognize in reality. Anyway, I transported the body to what seemed like a morgue. I performed some sort of botched autopsy on the body. There was blood everywhere...blood, metal and a dead body. I ended up becoming very paranoid because of what I had done. I was scared of police and scared of this "aunt" figure. I ended up stuffing the body into a locker. My last image in the dream was blood seeping out of the bottom sides of the locker and then I suddenly woke up.
Now, I have had some really effed up dreams in the past, but these two almost top the most bizarre dreams I have had. There's nothing out of the ordinary happening in my life right now, it is business as usual.
Anyone good at dream interpretation to help me understand what the hell these dreams might mean in waking life? These images are disturbing. I'm trying not to obsess over them, but it is difficult to NOT think about them.
Someone help me, please!

You may be watching to many dissturbing movies such as "Cloud Atlas" and others. Avoid violent video games as well. Modern Hollywood is way to violence orientated. I suggest avoiding TV as well. In your wakeing life take walks in nature, engage in positive activitys as well, that promote good feelings.

I avoid anything violent. I consider myself Buddhist, so I live a very positive life, which is why these dreams are so disturbing. I do not play video games, either. I attend meditation at out local Buddhist temple every Thursday night for two hours. I have no idea where these images/dreams are coming from or why they're so morbid. I have never been a violent person and rarely ever have violent thoughts. I am at a loss for explanation. I am disturbed to the point of not wanting to fall asleep in fear that my mind may conjure more of these really strange dreams. As you can imagine, being Buddhist, I spend a lot of time in nature and positive thinking. I am quite perturbed. I'm thinking that maybe I should seek counseling or psychiatric help. I just don't understand the nature of these dreams - what do they mean...what is my subconscious trying to release or tell me? I am deeply disturbed.

For some reason, I sense paranoia in your dreams- like you have done something wrong and you are afraid that it's finally catching up and now it's time to pay for it.

There's something about the distinction of your second dream that I find interesting. A male figure related to you via marriage but not blood. Has a male figure hurt you in the past in any way? Or have you hurt a male figure in a way that makes you feel guilty now?

I too find it interesting that in the second dream, the more recent dream, that the male figure was not a blood relative. I was abused as a young child - physically, verbally, and emotionally by my father. All has been forgiven, but I suppose will never be forgotten. The paranoia is a strange emotion...I've never had any reason to actually be paranoid, but the feeling in the dream was extreme anxiety and guilt with the need to "run." To my knowledge, I have not hurt anyone in a way that causes guilt. I'm really just not certain where this "paranoia" is coming from. I just know that it is extremely uncomfortable. I can't seem to shake the emotions of these dreams...

Yes, I was finally correctly diagnosed with Depersonalization Disorder a few years back after being in and out of therapy and from psychiatrist to psychiatrist for over a decade.

I'm sure your disorder ties into it. Have you shared these dreams with your therapist/psychiatrist.
