okay my whole life i have had dreams not all of the time but they pop up through out my life.

my most recent nightmare i had was i was in an aquarium with an orca i was petting it at first and then it grabbed onto my leg with its mouth for a minute.. i felt like i was drowning, i couldn't get my leg away there couldn't really keep myself up.. the orca did not drag me under sord of like warning me he was gonna hurt me if i didn't get away.. he let me go.. i swam of to the ledge that was blocked on the sides. one of the ledges the orcas could beach on, and it came after me on the ledge and just started swinging its head around with its mouth open showing its teeth.. it grabbed me and drug me back into the water and just kept throwing me everytime i would get to the ledge it would come over and throw me away from it. i don't remember the rest.
i dream of them in aquariums a lot and they are mean to me, nearly always being attacked.

but i have had dreams of them in the ocean, last year this one stands out the most.. i was all by myself sitting on a doc in the ocean.. i could see a group of orcas swimming in the distance, i jumped off the doc and got in the water and strated swimming, it was late afternoon.. and the sun was like a reddish color. i could feel them under my feet just swimming... one swam up to my face and let me pet it i put my forehead on his nose like we were bonding, he was real nice to me he pushed me back to the doc real easy and gentle.

these dreams are very odd to me, because i live in ohio and only been to the ocean maybe 5 times my whole life. and i been to seaworld a lot.. but i really don't understand these dreams... i feel in the dreams, it scares me when i wake up when they are bad. i can actually feel the orcas in my dream what they feel like, the water, there power and movement because of how big they are.
someone please tell me what dreaming about orcas is all about?

What matters is what orcas mean to your personally. Can you describe more about how you feel about them in real life? What kind of personality do they have? This might be an odd question, but what do you feel that orcas want out of life?

And what associations do you have to water animals and water? What do you think orcas feel about living in the ocean? Do you think they like the freedom of the vast space? How do you feel about the ocean yourself? Is the ocean threatening to you, or do you like it?

i feel like they have to mean something to keep dreaming about them, and they feel peaceful accept for when they attack me its really scary.. i like the ocean , its very peaceful place in my mind. i think it is cruel to keep them in a small aquarium when they rome the whole ocean.. they like traveling i know that..
i feel that orcas want to be what they are made to be, and that would be a wild animal..
i have no associations with water animals at all, but when i was a child my mom and dad .did take me to sea world.. a lot. we would go watch the shamoo show. . i got to sit on the whales back, along time ago they did that i don't think they are allowed to do that anymore.. there eyes are very scary to me. i do not like there eyes. you can tell they are hunters when you look in there eyes, when i was a child i thought the white spot was there eyes until i sat on the whale and i could see her eyes, and saw her looking at me.. they are red. the whale wanted me to pet her, i was to scared to pet her.. her eyes just scared me.. so i wouldn't pet her. i think the dreams may have made me freigtened too i mean i know if i ever fall in the ocean and there is whale likely if its hungry its probally going to eat me. so yeah, i know they are dangerous, but they are suppose to be less dangerous in captivity, and more dangerous in the ocean.

live in ohio, i like swimming always have.. no animals involved though.. i have been to a lot of aquatic parks though.

Hi,
When they are mean to you, is it generally when they are in an aquarium?

When they are nice and gentle, is it generally when they are in the ocean?

EDIT: I mean in the dreams.

What seems to be true is that killer whales have a lot of meaning for you. They are wild, potentially dangerous animal that is also capable of playing with humans. You cross paths with them, and in your two example dreams, it's the captive whale that gives you all the trouble, while the one at sea plays nicely. So it leads me to wonder what, in your life, orcas represent. Is there a wild part of yourself that feels best when it is allowed to roam? Is there someone in your life who seems wild and you feel it would be best to let them live and let them be?

I don't know, I know I have endured a lot of abuse in my life. sexual abuse as a teenager by an authority figure, my parents were never emotionally there, but only financially. I have experienced a lot o domestic violence in my reltionships with men..
and my husband recently went to rehab, and has changes tremendously. but I am the one who kind of eels trapped, for him to repair what he has done to me and never do it again I am unsure of that. I don't know I he is going to really stay sober cause if he relapses I cant be with him anymore, no more strength to deal with his addcitions... I got my own self I need to work on.. he seems to like the native American way of staying sober and seems to be helping him and I hope he does so we can be a family together.. and be an insprration to others that we fixed the damage in our relationship.. right now I am scared he wont though.

It really seems like the orcas represent some part of yourself (or perhaps another person in your life, like your husband) who needs space and freedom. Constraining this part of your life leads this part to be irritable and get in conflict with you. At this point I can see both possibilities, that the orca is a wild part of yourself, or the orca is your husband or someone else in your life.

my husband is gone for 2 weeks in a different state lol.. and I don't ever tell what he can or cant do... other way around... right now I am scared he is going to relapse...
he went on a crack bing for a week a straight, and he got hisself into trouble, he had freedom and he needs to free hisself from what he does to his self... I am on the verge right now of leaving him, I he don't stay sober.. I cant put myself thorough that type of abuse anymore.

Hi I'm crystal! Lately I have discovered lots about the meaning behind these types of dreams. I've been having similar dreams since I was a child. I really would like to discuss with you what I've come to know. I tried to send a private message i couldn't since I'm new here. I joined the site just so I could comment or message you about the topic. I'm hoping you can message me and we can chat about it. I prefer to be private just because I don't want to offend anyone or the opinions, you know. I believe you are experiencing a very high level spiritual guidance and animal telepathy, along with other cool things. Please be in touch! Thank you kindly, Crystal
