Is anyone else having a hard time "falling back"? I've been exhausted by 7pm and waking up at 4am (and all the hours in between, but that's pretty normal). It's really messing with my head. I picked a fight with my boyfriend as I was going to bed last night. :-( Any suggestions on how to get my sleep back on track?

I have a circadian rhythm disorder, so time change (and the difference in the amount of sunlight) really throws me off. I use a light box to reset my circadian rhythm, but they're pretty expensive--mine was a little over $200. It actually works better if you can get about an hour of sunlight every morning when you first wake up, but where I live, winter tends to be cloudy and dim most of the time.
Other than that, I think it's probably just a matter of letting your body sort itself out, unfortunately. |

Gloam - it sounds like you may have Advanced Sleep Phase Syndrome (a circadian disorder). Try to push your bedtime a little back by 20 minutes a day until you reach 9pm or 10pm (or whatever time you need so you can wake up on time).
The fall weather and time change has me all mucked up too in my sleep and mood. Even the scent of the air and feel of it is noticeably different for me and depressing. I much prefer summers.
