Dx: Mix anhedonia with Bipolar II. Add some insomnia and chronic stress. Season with paroxetine and a pinch of ADD. Stir well to induce a couple of hypo/manic episodes. After the excess of energy is gone, remove the Paroxetine and serve chilled with some C-PTSD and GAD. Ready is your MDD. Mx: To clean up the mess use lamotrigine, risperidon, mirtazapine and sertraline. Let it soak in for a while but keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile enjoy your desert of oxazepam/temazepam prn. |

There are caffeine pills.
Try drinking more, (water) it does get you awake and it might get you up, to relieve your bladder...and when you get up to do this...immediately strip your bed and put your pillows somewhere where they are out of sight. I pray that the Lord makes it happen, and usually i get someone banging on the door for no reason which works. Growing up after working all night my Dad would take a pan full of water and pour it over my head cause he felt my working 12 hours nights was no excuse to sleep till noon, he thought i should be out of bed. And so it goes...

Have some really bright lights in your bedroom that are on a timer that goes off when your alarm goes off. Bright light makes it harder to stay in bed. If you can, drag yourself to your bathroom sink and splash cold water on your face first thing.

i have the same problem it drives me nut so far the only thing thats helping is getting up half an hour earlier every other day or so do i it in stages

If some days you do not feel like getting out of bed, I would accept that and work that into your schedule. Are you worried that if you do that you won't stop? I find if I recognize and accept myself and behavior it gets easier to work with. If there's nothing time sensitive happening "today"/"now" then wait until later.
The desire has to come from you and your head I think, not from outside. You say you feel better when you get up earlier/more consistently so you have to work with that and decide you want to feel better. No one else can give you discipline? It's like giving up smoking or overeating, starting an exercise program, etc. It's just a habit. Don't give it any more energy than it deserves. Anthropomorphizing the bed, if it does not work (as an "enemy" you want to get away from) should be dropped. It's just a simple decision; get up or don't. It's your decision each day, who do you want to be; what do you want to do?
