This is the first time I have posted in this forum. I have a question I wondered it anyone could answer. First I need to tell you that I have panic disorder, ocd, phobias, hypertension, and going through the change of life. Just wanted everyone to know when I ask this question. Is it normal to wake up and notice you don't have to get up just yet but you don't fall back completely asleep and start have weird nightmarish dreams ( thoughts) usually about a particular trigger, phobia, and start having a panic attack with impending doom? I am also under a lot of stress lately. Was just wondering if anyone could help?

Hi,
Nice to meet you. I don't have any of the things you mentioned except menopause. Sleep disturbances are very common with menopause. Have you consulted with your to see if you need hormone replacement or not. I live in Canada and I take a supplement called Estrosense or Menosense. I get it at the vitamin store. Also limit you caffiene as it can cause havoc with your sleep. Good luck.

I took my first dose of estroven last night. Really like the way it helped me go to sleep. It was just when I got up and went to the bathroom and laid back down because I had about 30 minutes before I actually had to get up. I didn't fall back completely asleep and I started having weird dreams, thoughts about phobias and then started having a panic attack. I would have been better off staying up. The dreams about my phobias just scare me with the feeling of impending doom and I know they are just dreams. Thanks for your reply and I will start limiting my caffiene intake and usually just before bedtime I start craving it.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
