I did the champix route but something that really helped me was giving up with someone else.

Not for support but someone I am highly competitive with.

No matter how much I wanted that cigarette I wasn't going to let that person out do me lol

Even now when I'm pretty certain she has started smoking again I'm not just to stick it to her

you know what i have been using..an ink pen..i know it sounds stupid, but i put the non ink side towards me and kinda use the pen like a cigarette..especially when someone does something stupid..because that's when you always want a cig..so far so good about 6 days now with no fits!

I used a straw, "smoked" the hell out of it!!!

I use e-ciggs but i really don't know how safe they are,but i do know there are no more ash trays, smokey smell or smoke. i've been using them for 3 years now.

Thats a pretty good idea. Never thought of it tbh, most of my friends who smoke have no intention of quitting though, so that's an issue. I find that thinking about my Mom helps me stay straight too. She never did like the idea of me smoking, and I wouldn't want to disappoint her.
