That's wonderful! My mom has the same problem so I try to convince her to go out at least once a week. She's made it her goal. I'm glad you're achieving your goals. Keep your chin up, you're doing great

Wow, look at all the do righters here!

I've been busy quilting and doing PT, so haven't been around much to PC.

I walked Jack 1 mile and did my dishes and moved some furniture in living room, and sewed and omg, sat with heating pad on my back briefly and fixed a nice dinner... oh and finished shoveling the driveway. Whew! I'm really doing right today!
Thanks for this!

I started work today and put in about 4 hours, half of which were at home. I have some reading that I have to do for work, so it is billable reading. I also took my daughter to dance and realized that she needs some new dance wear (or to stop growing ). I ate two meals today.

Let's see...

My recent do rights are I applied for three jobs at a place I think I'd love to work. I cooked dinner for my family and a friend, and bought us all tray tables so that we can indulge our guilty pleasure of watching tv while we eat. I cleaned up the house a bit. I bought a book light so that I can do something good for my mind before bed!

Good job to everyone for their do rights.

((sundog))

I know how hard it is to take medication. I have that same problem. Great job! That can be scary.

Thumbs up, team! Sunset, Alias, Sundog, everyone, thanks for your kindness and encouragement. Alias, kudos to you. I procrastinate re phone calls and job applications a lot. And those warm, domestic comforts, cooking, cleaning, t.v. trays - sound wonderful. Beholden, you were like Superman yesterday! Sundog, congrats on courage re the Rx. Nola, you wonderful wordsmith And Pleasehelp, Kitty, Butterfli - good work.

I had acupuncture (yesterday), today walked Sherman, got to some errands in town, posted at PC, listened to part of an audio dharma talk, showered AND shampooed (I was on fire!) , sorted some mail and papers, vacuumed a bit. And I ate. ADD stimulants really kill my appetite, and I'm losing too much weight. I also had an EEG this a.m. for a bizarre neurological symptom. Loquaciousness meter is in the red zone.

I haven't posted much b/c I feel kind of stuck. I do appreciate your words of encouragement, however compliments are hard for me to take. So I sometimes retreat.

I did get that jean quilt laid out and pinned - now to sew, did laundry, dishes, cooked some meals, have been going to work, started a new support group (very hard), need to do the dishes again, helped "my" sister with "my" 3 nephews, ran some errands, paid some bills. (OK this is like for 3-4 days) Today is a new day and all I've done is gotten up and had some coffee, but its time to head to the shower and get to work.

Great job everyone!

I hope you feel better!!

How's the acupuncture if you don't mind my asking?

Yesterday I did a lot of good stuff. Made scones and biscuits and dinner for family. And dessert. I picked up some dry cleaning and dropped some off. I hook my stepdad to get a phone. I cleaned the kitchen practically all day long. And I started taking a multivitamin. I think I will start to feel better.

All are doing great here!

I may have been a superman the other day, but have slowed down a bit since.

My do rights for today are not such "rights" but I did 'em just the same....drank coffee, watched news an tv, walked Jack about 10 minutes and have been sitting at thecomputer for several hours.

That's why I don't come to the puter every day anymore. It sucks me in because I love surfing for quilting patterns etc right now!

Time to do dishes, eat lunch and then do some sewing.
Thanks for this!

I had another acupuncture appt, (Alias, I'm happy to talk about it further. Not too much to report so far, only been 3 sessions, and no noticeable improvement yet in mood or energy. We're starting 2x/week). I finally have my bathroom sink back on the wall. It's been like camping out lately. Someone brought pants for alterations. I went to therapy this a.m. T thinks old repressed anger is behind the stuckness.

I went to a team meeting at work. Then went to the health foods store to buy my special milk. Ate dinner then went to support group. Had a drumstick for a snack.

Good to see you again ((((((Beholden))))) Please give Jack a belly rub from me!!! Well done on your do-rights!!!

Good luck on those job applications you sent out!! ((((((((Alias)))))))))) And well done on all the cooking!!!!

Glad you've started work ((((((Butterfli)))))) Hope you enjoy the new job!

((((((((lavie))))))))))) I really hope the acupuncture helps. It's good you've had an EEG. I've wanted to have one too, but my doc said she thought it was unnecessary (no idea how she can know that.....) Glad you have your bathroom sink back!! Hugs to you!

(((((((PleaseHelp))))))))) I looked at the photos you've posted of your quilts. They are beautiful!!!!!

(((((((((((sunsetsunrise)))))))))))))) That's awesome you took care of yourself today. Well done

I guess my "do-rights" are that I've been really making an effort to boost my immune system with certain herbs and eating certain foods. I have a sinus infection at the moment and I'm really not wanting to take the anti-biotics that I've been prescribed so I'm going all out with all the alternative methods (neti pot, steam inhalations etc etc.) Today I bought a special herb in powder form and I'm going to try that too (((((((Thank you SS))))))))) So far I'm still having bad sinus headaches, but no doubt this will take a while.

Hugs to all

I allowed the elixirs of chocolate and rest to be a part of my day. Chocolate has not been permitted in my life recently, by me, as it brings obvious pleasure to those of us who love it. Had a taste of some very dark chocolate and let it work its wonders on my palate and my state of mind; it was a welcome moment. I also rested after several days of nonstop shoveling. My body begged me to give it a day to regenerate, and we are still in process here. A little extra sleep does the trick, but so does slowing down a mite, even if you are slow-paced as I these days.

sundog, sunsetsunrise, lavieenrose--your kind words and compliments about my meager contributions here mean so very much. Thank you. I'm just calling it as I see it...

Very cool to see Beholden back--how've you been?

Alias, sounds like you're quite the kitchen maven...perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing some of those recipes...?

And sunsetsunrise, I know how hard it is to take care of oneself. I'm glad you did, and I will try to learn from your example.

Hugs, warmth, friendship, and solidarity to everyone here.
Thanks for this!

Questionable how "right" it was, but for the first time in a while, I risked taking Sherman to the dog park. He was a good boy and was thrilled to run and play with other dogs through the woods and meadows. I bought a pair of pants. I haven't bought clothes in a few years, due to finances and sewing a lot of my own clothes. It felt good. I haven't been motivated to sew in the past year, and my clothes are getting ragged.

Went to the dr today, taking me off my metformin, not sure if I like that idea. Took a nap and woke up without an alarm. Went to my daughter's play practice. Ate dinner and the read some more of the manual for work.

So happy you experienced some real pleasure again ((((((((((Nola)))))))))))))) And also that you are getting some rest. Yay!!

((((((((((((Junerain))))))))))))) I'm so sorry that you've been going through a lot of stress in your relationship. It sounds as though you have come to a decision about what is best for you, and I'm so glad to hear that. Hugs to you!

(((((((((((((lavie)))))))))))) I'm thrilled to hear that Sherman was a good boy and had a total blast at the dog park!! Really happy you treated yourself to some new pants too!

I hope your med change goes as smoothly as possible (((((((Buttrfli))))))) And I hope your new job is going well!

Today I bought some new Essential Oils and I'm going to get a diffuser for them. I'm really wanting to become more knowledgeable about herbal stuff, and also about oils. I feel inspired about this!!!

The last couple days I've made supper, done dishes, played with the dog, helped a friend, went shopping for myself (I despise shopping), took the girls to a "dive-in" movie (they LOVED it. but if it involves swimming or a pool they are pretty much game for it!), grocery shopped, been helping with homework, and we're going to watch a movie as a family! (I'm making homemade lasagna and worried! I hope it turns out)

Well done!! ((((((((PleaseHelp)))))) Hope the lasagna turns out well!

Really good to see you!!!!! ((((((((((Melissa))))))))) Great job on getting the dishes done!

Today I swung on an old tire swing hanging from a tree and I made loud whooping noises and then I got my husband to get on it, and our dogs were jumping up and trying to join in, and it was just some moments of carefree sillyness and fun and it felt good!

I put clean clothes away and thought about doing the laundry. I went grocery shopping, got lots of fruit and yogurt. Helped mom make dinner. Actually ate meatloaf (not my favorite way to have hamburger). Read more of the manual.

A day behind. Yesterday, I vacuumed the house. Joined friends at a cafe for an hour, and while there, made a "pact" with a friend for us both to be check-in buddies for changing scarcity mentality to abundance thinking, but without time frame or pressures. I also accepted an invite to dinner out with a new male friend. It was pleasant, though I was anxious at times. I think that we're too different, but he's a kind person, and it's good to take a risk. I do so little of that.
