I tried my best to connect with my husband while he was at home and stay positive despite the lacking response. I took care of the animals and cleaned up around the house And I tried not to let the things I didnt do right drown me while typing this

I held my 3 year old nephew when he fell off his chair. And he hugged me back for once. That was beautiful.

Today I was present, in the moment, when my boyfriend told me he missed me already before he left town........really present, unafraid of all the negative emotions that usually lock me down..

Talked to my girlfriend. Nothing deep, but we laughed for once. That was nice

So yet again I haven't been so great posting here.

Last couple days: did laundry, did taxes, did dishes, cleaned bathroom, went to work, made my final payment on a dress, went out with some friends. I think I handled seeing "my" brother fairly well.

Today: may go see a friends baby (depends on roads), need to do the dishes again (do dishes ever STOP!), finish laundry, help shovel (oh joy!), not sure what else.
Thanks for this!

You guys are awesome!!!

I've missed a couple of days, but my recent do-rights are that I went out hiking with my husband and our dogs and I took some photographs. I've caught up on some long overdue email correspondence. And I've increased my meditation practice by about 15 minutes per day.

Hugs to all!

Good going, everybody!! I took Sherman to the dog park, where he was mostly well-behaved, except for a brief disagreement with one dog, which I didn't see. Just saw the owner grab Sherman's collar. He also barked at a small child in a saucer sled. Not a do-right for Sherman. The father was not happy with us. I recovered from that, eventually. I attended an Alanon anniversary party/meeting downtown. A friend came by with a CD of photos she took of me, for posting online (at a dating web site, maybe??). I got a call from a friend with an invite for a snow shoeing group outing in one of the beautiful hill towns in the area for this coming Wednesday.
Thanks for this!

I did my laundry, cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed and mopped all the tile in the house, and washed the dog beds. I convinced my dad to vacuum the rest of the house (carpet). I went and saw my dad's new office/house and tried very hard not to make nasty comments about the fact that he's going to fix it up when our house needs sooo much work (I mostly succeeded). And I remembered to put my cleaning into my wiifit as workout time.

Yay!!!! (((((((lavie)))))))

Yay!!!! (((((((((kitty)))))))))

Yay!!!! (((((((((RunningEagleRuns)))))))))

Yay!!!! (((((((((missbelle))))))))))

Yay all!!!!

Today I emailed a local naturopathic doctor to set up a free phone consult with a view to going to see her for treatment. I have some ongoing health issues which have really been getting me down and I feel like I've exhausted my options with my regular doc. It's time to try something different and I've done quite a bit of research and I like the sound of this naturopathic doc.

Hugs to all!

Ditto to that - Yay Sundog, Kitty, Miss Belle Junerain, Elana, Amoslass, PleaseHelp, and Running!! (Hope I didn't leave anyone out). Sundog, I'm so glad that you're going to try a naturopath. Keeping trying is important.

It's just morning here, but so far, I did 20 minutes of sitting meditation and am watching hummingbird babies on a web cam on another screen. Yesterday, I flung tennis balls for Sherman in my back yard (aerobic for us both with 2 ft. snow banks). We went for a walk. I made some phone calls I'd been procrastinating about. One was related to some consulting work I do for a juvenile court (=money!!). I was paid for some sewing/alteration job I'd done. Every day, I intend to give myself art/creativity time, and then don't get to it. There's fear there. My goal is to spend at least 15 minutes today in my studio.
Thanks for this!

Yesterday was very productive. The 12 month old I watched used his first sign yesterday. (I taught him that ) I got all my homework done for therapy that I've been putting off for about a month. Did the dishes, took care of the kiddo. I talked my dad into buying me new bras and told my mom if she wants to comment on my "ratty" clothes then she needs to come over here and tell me what's "ratty" so I can either get rid of it or choose to keep it in its ratty glory. She's coming over Saturday. So we'll see how that goes. Today I made it to therapy on time...but it's still morning here.

Catch-up time for me. Have been doing dishes on a regular basis (yeah me), been cooking (BF likes it - again yeah me!), been going to work, installed a new monitor to my computer today for work, installed a new tower and some software at work, handled a guy at work getting upset with me over something my boss asked me to do, saw my therapist and actually talked about some stuff that is upsetting me, requested a book from the library, have been dealing with all this snow! OK that was a lot for me. I'm done now.

Good job to everyone!

After a lot of procrastinating for weeks, I finally filled out paperwork for the Recreation Dept, in order to offer a doll-making workshop in March or April. It was tough. It asked for a work history. Mine's out of date. I also altered a pair of pants I made over a year ago. Maybe now I can finally wear them. I still didn't get those 15 minutes of art time in. Tomorrow perhaps if I'm not dead from snowshoeing with friends.

I went and saw my daughter's T today. Going to try some different ideas to help her transition back to my house from her father's. Also took her to dance and authorized the studio to take the remainder of costumes payment from my cc on file.

Wow!! Well done all!!!!

I got a lot done at work today, including some urgent bookkeeping tasks that I've been procrastinating about. It felt good to be productive again since I've been pretty unfocused at work lately.

I am impressed with all people are doing. From washing dishes to accepting invitation to go to dinner with a " new male friend". you all rock !!!

Yesterday I made all my valentines. Well, it was only 4. But I made and addressed them. And trudged out in the arctic cold late last night to put them in my condo's mailbox to be picked up today. I tried to explain to my beautiful " daughter of my heart" ( who is moving to another country) just how deeply I love her, and all who live with her. And she heard my words. I once again got my garbage disposal unjammed.
