Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted here in awhile as I haven't had anything to share. My life has been bereft of anything good or right, done by me intentionally or incidentally. All that aside, it's been great reading everyone's accomplishments, and I feel as if I've had the opportunity to catch up a mite with dear friends and meet some new ones too.

I think I may be able to contribute today--I spent time with my mom this afternoon and evening, and I'm about to help her with some seasonal chores. These activities feel like they belong here, hence I'm posting today. Thanks, everyone, for your uplifting messages--your do rights, right things, and everything in between are very inspirational to me. Hope to see you more frequently in the coming days and weeks.

Thanks for this!

Juliaspavlov I agree with what you wrote. There are very few threads at pc I feel safe posting on. This is one of them.

((((( Nola ))))) Been there many times, if not very often. Glad you are here !!!
Today I went to the grocery store to get something for lunch. Then I went to the health food store to exchange some full spectrum lightbulbs for a ligher wattage. Then I drove about 5 miles to the carwash. Then I went to another grocery store to buy rutabegas and a couple other things. I was exclaming extreme relief as I was headed home in my car. I also was noticing that I ought to be quite grateful that I had a way to get to these places, and the health to go there, even though I dreaded doing it and my relief being enroute home was palpable. I also took action to protect myself today from some real control energy that I encountered.

Thank you again everyone for your words.
Thanks for this!

I picked up a small family for church this morning, then went to a friend's house. Attempted to go to the WinterJam concert, but didn't get in. Was really surprised by my daughter's reaction to us not getting in. She made me proud.

I sprayed the weeds in my garden today. I did a whole bunch of loads of laundry. I'm working on being unmad at something that happened yesterday.

You guys are all awesome in the true sense of the word. Or perhaps I should say that you guys are awe-inspiring. I really am so impressed by everything I read in this thread. Especially the variety!! My days tend to follow pretty much the same pattern so my do-rights also tend to be the same. I want to push myself to do some different things and your posts inspire me!!

Today I spent the evening with friends and I really enjoyed it and wasn't looking at my watch wanting to go home. I was present in the moment, and they were good moments!!

Hey everybody and congrats on all the do rights!! Backing up a bit, Saturday night, I went to a music party and had a great time. I was able to noodle around with harmonies on mandolin, despite not picking it up since the last music party a month ago. I almost didn't go. I was so glad I did. Sunday was a wash, but today, I vacuumed the house, went to the dog park, made broccoli soup, worked on a costume for a doll I made, and was asked out for coffee by someone new, a local storyteller/performer. We met through a mutual friend, though I've known of him for years. We're meeting this Wednesday.

Way to go everyone

Sunday: took girls to Sunday school (even though church is a major trigger for me at the moment), more shopping, cooked supper, helped girls work on presents and decorations for their dad's birthday, did laundry.

Today: took kids to library, helped with more homework, read, cooked supper, went to SDB chat, now going to put two girls to bed!
Thanks for this!

I stripped the beds and put clean sheets and blankets on them. Took my daughter to the dr. Treated my daughter's head. Smiled when I was getting irritated, a new DBT skill.

I had a chiropractor app't this a.m., which started with 15 minutes with a masseuse. Wished it was an hour! Took Sherman to the dog park, and worked a bit on the doll costume. I look forward to being able to report on different things! I tried to get into the Happiness Webinar, but didn't get the email confirmation. Rats! I'm about to stop procrastinating and start some paid work that I hate (the paycheck, the paycheck).

I'm hugging you right back, (((((((((sunsetsunrise)))))))) !!

I'm permitting myself to do more than read this thread today, as I allowed the tooth doc to do some serious excavation and then renovation in my mouth. Ouch. I have a great tooth doc, love the guy, but I really had to push myself to go--it's the furthest I've ventured in months. It was wrenching updating the folks in the office about my life--fortunately, they were kind and compassionate. I think talking about what my family has suffered most recently was more difficult than the physical discomfort and pain. In fact, I know it was.

There is so much excitement and activity present in this thread! Thank you for sharing your days and deeds with me and everyone else.
Thanks for this!

Catching up: been trying to console crying kids (long story), have been feeling under the weather so trying to rest and get better, did make it to work today, helped BF carry in the new hot water heater (dang those things are heavy!). Brain not working can't think right now, so that will have to do.

I smiled while feeling a bit discouraged, changed my whole attitude. Went to DBT Skills group. Did 3 loads of laundry, now just have to put them away.

Have you smiled today? I have.

Greetings all...
What I did right..well this is write...right! Writing is an excellent expression of internal and external interaction with life...I never fail to gain something from what I read here from others...like wise I hope that I may bring some comfort.
I remember counseling folks that were dealing with depression...and came to a place where they felt their worth was "not enough". Most felt that what connections they had, would be perfectly fine if they were to disappear....
I sometimes think we forget the "connectedness" of us all...we forget the possibility of how we may have connected in some way thru others.
So..yeah today, I did do laundry...Ive decided when I die, I want to die naked so no one will have to wash my clothes...LOL! But, this...what I'm doing this moment, is right. Not an expert, just walking some of the same paths as many here. Blessings to all!
Thanks for this!

Hello, Everybody. This thread is a true haven.

I've been slowly getting back in touch with everyone to whom I owe communication. It's been an uphill battle, for sure. I earnestly hope for understanding and patience from folks in this endeavor, as I've had to conserve what little energy I have for the mundanities of existence and the roaring ocean of grief I carry in my insubstantial human form. I still don't have a purpose. Rediscovering that would be the ultimate "do right," I believe.

Love and friendship to everyone here! You guys are awesome.
Thanks for this!

I walked half a mile and lifted weights today. I had to push myself because I was tired and depressed. I'm glad I did it.

I had 3 appointments today: therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor. Walked with Sherman in the Meadows, til I saw it was Audubon property with "No Dogs Allowed" sign. I finished the second of two dolls that my aunt has been waiting a very long time for. I was also pleased with the dress's embellishment - I crocheted ribbon yarn into a chain for trim and twisted it into a figure 8 or double rosette at the front. And last evening, I went on a date sort of. A very nice man had asked me out for coffee. I also finally got moving on some consulting work that I have, and was avoiding.

I got to work barely on time. I made the decision to let my ex pick up caterpillar(my daughter) from school because of the weather, eventhough I wanted her here with me. I painted my finger nails for the first time in like 2 yrs.
