I shared a cafetiere of gorgeous coffee with my Dad and we chatted about how his first Alanon meeting last week helped him tremendously. Basically I listened to him and felt glad to have him as my Dad :-)

i told someone at work I really did not care- what they were doing - like i dont see what they were doing wrong (our superior sees it as wrong which she is being nuts right now).... and then came home and played with my cat-- I am not taking work too seriously right now-- which for my work- is a right thing to do lol

I vaccuumed the house and washed the kitchen floor. I only watched a little TV while having breakfast and then went to getting things done. Proud of myself today.
Thanks for this!

Got up early and ran with a group of people even though I was tired. Thoughts of giving up on a faster pace kept creeping up, but I pushed myself to keep going and finished strong.

Socialized a bit afterwards with some of the nicer people. Ignored the mean ones.

I saw that a bread recipe was not going well so I assessed what the dough needed to correct the consistency, calculated the approximate amount needed, and successfully made the bread recipe turn out perfect, as it was supposed to.

Cleaned behind the fridge (oh, trust me... ugh). Mopping floor. Didn't intend to, but spilled a whole container of OJ, so it really wasn't an option not to.

I got up at 9:30 and stayed up without taking a nap. I helped fix brunch, and fixed dinner. Took my friend home to college.

Cleaned and decorated for Thanksgiving guests. Put in a desk and another bookcase in my daughter's room to make it more conducive to studying. She danced and giggled in delight as our house started to look more like a home. I think it was a good day. It made me happy to see her smile so much. I love my child.

I applied to a few more jobs. It is very challenging for me to go through with it because I usually talk myself out of it believing I have no skills. Today I did three job applications.

I stepped out in the cold snowy weather to inquire about my medical leave coverage and get answers as to when it is coming, instead of avoiding it and further worrying.
