Basically tainted by anger and envy.
It didn't help that one of the Fanning Wondergirls was Aurora. I would give nearly anything to be Elle Fanning, to grow up with everyone being impressed by her bright personality, wonderful talent, and maturity. I doubt anyone would ever tell her that she was stupid or to "act her age" or be embarrassed by her out-of-control emotions. It must be great to feel so capable and confident in public, and not be paralyzed with worry about being a failure or proving that I'm worthy. It's just bad that I feel these things. Worthy people never think the things I think or feel the way I feel: that's what makes them worthy and me unworthy. |

You are not unworthy at all!! And you are great for being you...focus on positive aspects of being you (if you have to look hard then go ahead and do it!!) and don't ever wish you were somebody else. You're you and nothing is better than being yourself.

"worthy" people do have concerns and fears, they just may express them differently. It's easy to be uncomfortable with ourselves and think we are unique to experiencing things because we don't hear what's going on in other peoples' heads…however, you are subjected to your own abusive inner voice. Most people assume that you have everything together anyway.
It does feel like the more you attempt to trick the world into thinking that you are this super-strong person the more self-conscious you become. It uses a lot of energy and just feeds the cycle. It helps to stop making up reasons to not do things, stop with self sabotage and face your fears head on because they will always be there. Nike is right…just DO it. |
