in the creative corner---and posted below

I posted a "poem" that I would also post here (I dont know how to do that w/o retyping it). It had a trigger icon and it is titled Silent Scream Stars- here i guess, are those of us who can relate to the voices within the poetry (or it should maybe be in dissociation?) I am assuming here that because abuse drives dissociation that there is overlap in these 2 forums.

Kathy, if you block out the text of the poem in CC and copy it, you can just do a Control+V into a new reply here, then you won't have to retype it.

I'm off to CC to read it now.

How about if we just provide a thread in each of the Abuse and Dissociation forums with trigger icons and a link to the your poem in the Creative Corner?

That way the folks in these two forums can choose to click and read your work if they're able to and the folks who are easily triggered can choose to remain safe and not click.

Would that be a workable solution?

my mistake i thought maybe it belongs here so people in creative wouldnt trip over it if its triggering and not expecting it. . .i guess i got it backwards? it was not a poen when i wrote it - it was literal but no one got that - thats why there was the trigger icon. . in retrospection i was thinking the ugly stuff goes here and not to be inflicted on unsuspecting readers of poetry. because it wasnt.

see- its not goin to get the feed back there because it looks like poem which it could also be but who wrote it - i should say who LIVED it -is living it- belongs over here. so why isnt this whole thing removed from here so it does not make any one who gets triggered look over ther- see my dillema here i am comfused with opposite and going to do some thing exactly right turns out to be exactly wrong. (i hate getting stupid but there it is)

You are not stupid. Sometimes we all have a little difficulty expressing what we're trying to say. I know I sure do!!

From this post I am hearing you say that "the writer" of the poem/post would like that poem/post moved into this forum?

If that is the case then I will gladly PM a moderator in that forum to move the post and any replies to this forum.

If what was written by one of yours belongs here then we will respect that.

This forum, Survivors of Abuse, tends to be one where there are many triggering things and it is a constant job trying to respect the safety needs of all the members of the forum. The use of the trigger icon is suggested for anything questionable. We strongly encourage members to PM a moderator of this forum ( darkeyes, kimmydawn, DocJohn, __zh, ozzie, Rapunzel ) if they are concerned about content of a post and if a trigger icon is needed.

I went looking for your post in Creative and cannot find it. Did you remove it altogether?

I can't have a mod. move a post that was deleted by a member. Once it is deleted it is gone. I tried finding a link to give to the Creative Corner moderators but can't find the poem you mentioned.

no its on page 2 and says " ugly sorry" with a trigger

I will go ahead and find the link and let the Creative Corner moderators know. Thank you for alerting me to where the piece was.
