Not sure what you wanted to say, just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you!

Yes, I have experienced these things before, and I learned a better way to look at them and it helped a lot.

Yes to both words.

I'm still working to overcome them.

yes, my friend, those feelings are undercurrents because of the abuse that you went through. Remember that those are feelings that your perp put into your head...you have nothing to be ashamed about. You could not act on anything in your past because you were young and had no power.

Shame is something you are, embarrassment is something that happened to you that you may feel because you were not expected to feel those feelings.

Hoping that you will call your T and discuss this with him/her. It will help if you can openly talk about the shame that keeps you bound. You had no power, remember that. And you have nothing now to be ashamed about. You could not have been strong and resisted. You were a child. He/she was the adult and should have known better.

Am sending you gentle hugs, good thoughts, and prayers.

Yes, I have shame and I feel embarrassed when I talk about it feeling that my stuff isn't as bad as others. I used to feel shame, It is possible to NOT have Shame anymore, and it can happen with you.
I had to change the way I talked and felt about myself.

Please know, your not alone in any of this.....((((PTSDlovemycats))))

put the shame and embarrassment back on those that hurt you...
It's time to let that stuff go..... and hey give yourself a break...your healing!
But no, imo, your not alone........................... and hang in there,
Crew

Dealt with both every moment in my childhood, but like they say "Yesterday is today's history, today is tomorrows history."
