I just realized that I am in an abusive relationship. Perhaps, I have been in denial all this time. My husband who I have been with for four years (married for one of those four) is mentally and emotionally abusive towards me and my children. Is there a way to "fix" (that is the only word I can think of) him? Is there a way for him to overcome abusing? Or is it best to just run?

If I should leave, how do I even go about it?

Hey, I posted originally in another category before I realized I had a bigger issue than what I thought. Here is my original posting:

It is under Relationships & Communication- "In need of perspective".
Thanks!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
