btw I am in treatment for the abuse others have inflicted on me.... too many IRL to list. Nor do I wish to be specific, I hope my right to do that is honoured.

  I don't think they heal but get lots of loving to cover over them if you can.....I am 50 so have scars 47 years old and 37 years old and 23 years old and more scars but they are the scars covered over with effort and love.... sorry you are under your umbrella's I will stand under umbrella's with you for awhile... kind thoughts for you...Jjulia

Please have hope...my scars have been healing...it does seem like it takes so much time and effort...seems like the abusers should be doing the work instead of us.
