I have been cruising around various internet sites tonight, and I stumbled across a site promoting a certain religion. This 'religion' is encouraging it's members to rape!!!!! I feel so scared, and triggered, and really unsafe right now...

silentlyscreaming...sorry you came across such a site. Of course, I am even more sorry that one even exists. Is there something you can do to make yourself feel safer? Sometimes I will turn all the lights in the house on--get it real bright. Please take care of yourself when you get triggered like this.

The internet can be cruel. By nature and necessity it does not judge. Any moron can put up a site preaching whatever they want, helpful or harmful, and there's nothing we can do because to change that would forever alter the medium we all depend on. By necessity, it is not a safe place.
What happened to you would be comparable to a holocaust survivor stumbling across a neo nazi site and my heart goes out to you. But it's just some morons website. You are safe. They cannot hurt you. Cyran0
