when there are some years you dont remember at all, then all of a sudden the memories and flashbacks start coming back. how do you stop it or just cope i guess, just driving us crazy here. and i like to use the phrase like a jigsaw puzzle torn all apart cause thats how i feel most of the time, but whats really scary theres more pieces still coming out (alters).and very much fear, and anger, and confusion, i just dont know what to do anymore. meds dont seem to help at all at times and when it does help not really enough to brag about or really notice a lot ok so sorry i will stop rambling now. ty all for listening it does help.

I understand how you feel. There are times that things are like that here in the clan. The important thing to remember is that you are here and now not back then. When things get crazy come here and write. Sometimes that can help to get things to calm down.

Hugs if you want them.

jopepsi,

Hi there. Feel free to ramble all you want, I do and it helps. Lost time and feeling like you have just woke up from a long sleep can be scary. For me it all just got too exhausting and I gave up trying to figure it out. I developed the habit of keeping a pad and a pen by me and writing things down, that helped but even so there were times when I got mad because I couldn't remember writing something down and thought someone else had been using my special notebook. lol.

We live in a crazy world. If you can accept that you’ll feel a lot better about your part in it.

Nice to meet you.
Thanks for this!

We understand. Take your time with it, the healing process. Each part needs to heal in order for the whole to heal, IMO, and in my experience. We are still healing and some days are good and some days really bad. Use your tools in the interim. Try to remember that the DID is an ingenious survival tool. This may not make sense today but it might tomorrow or the next day. Meds?? IME, it depended upon who was out and what their needs were, if the meds were effective. Sometimes when we feel bad, it's hard to remember that we felt worse without the meds. And sometimes it needs to be adjusted. Can you talk to your Pdoc or T?

Hugs if okay

At those worse of times it is good for me to meditate... to go that place... a safe place in my mind where I can find a moment of peace. I write poetry alot and draw as well. I know this is hard. These are some things that work for me... I also go to therapy 2 to 3 times a week! I am new here, but from what I have read, people here would accept your ramblings... ramblings are good for the soul.
Thanks for this!
