I have very Bad PMS,Which causes Me to be very Emotional,Pretty much like a Adult Tantrum. My Boyfriend was in the Hospital this past Weekend and we got into a bit of a Squable, and I lost it. I was crying Hystericly,Making Myself sick,Getting the staff Involved {Which was Wrong of Me,VERY Wrong},And basicly being way to Over emotional at a Time when my Guy needed Me. Now the Entire staff have Banned Me from that Hospital. I feel Terrible about This,I am Not used to Hospital settings at All and I was very Upset at seeing My Guy in there,AND Pms wasn't Helping. I have NEVER EVER Been banned from a Place in my entire Life. I take Full responsability for my Actions. I have been on Meds from age 8-15 and am Done with them,I want to take Care of This with a Clear Mind. To each thier own though,I myself just don't want to go through that Again. Is there anyway that I can control my Emotims and Improve this?? My actions have REALLY Opened my Eyes and made me Relise that I cannot conduct Myself in this Manor anymore and I Need to get a grip and change things. How can I do this? Feedback would be Great!

Are you in therapy? Sometimes this can help as much as meds can. Hope you and your boyfriend are doing better.

If your emotional issues are from hormonal changes in your body during your period then medicine maybe your only answer to dealing with the up and downs that comes with being a female that is still having her cycle.
I suffer from PMDD and take Celexa for it - Life is Better Now. ![]() |

I am so sorry to hear things didn't go well at the hospital. It's not easy when you already aren't feeling well and concerned for a loved one at the same time.
Meds were just a part of the answer for me. The biggest help to me in working with my emotions was finding help through Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I learned to manage my emotions and life skills to function. It was a life saver in my case. Sending good wishes your way. ![]() |
