I know I am going to mention BC pills again but I am sorry.

I am on them to help keep my pain and the blacking out, spiking fevers, and collapsing randomly under control. I don't mind taking them.

I had to switch meds about a week ago and this one is making me feel like I have morning sickness all day long. I honestly feel like I am going to throw up all day long.

According to the instructions, doctors, and others, I need to keep taking them and somewhere in the first 4 months this will go away! I am sorry but 4 month?????? Really????

Anyway, I am not here to complain about feeling this way.... yet I am.

Does anyone have ANY suggestions to make this feeling go away or to help calm the symptoms. I don't mind doing as told and keep taking it but I have to find some way to help with being nausious.

PLEASE if you have ANY suggestions I will take them.

And sorry for the ramble!

Thanks

Doll

Some of my medications cause nausea too. Peppermint tea helps me a lot, as does sucking peppermints. A lot of people suggested ginger tea too, but I can't stand ginger so I don't know if that works.

It's up to you in the end though really, if you can't deal with the nausea then you can stop them yourself. One idea would be to go to your doctor and say you are going to come off them because you cannot bear it, but that you would be interested if there are any alternatives.

Taking them in the evening with dinner helped me with the nausea.

Thanks I will have to try these, I actually don't mind peppermint tea as long as it is using dried peppermint leaves that I put in a tea ball and brew.

I am just so tired of feeling sick.

Thanks again
