One of my co-workers went off on me, going on and on about something that was not my fault and not in my control. She went on and on and on and on. After trying to respond rationally to her (trying to explain to her who made the decisions she was angry about)-- which she ignored and continued to repeat herself, I finally said "this is not in my control" and I walked away. I could still hear her angrily repeating herself.
She seems to think it is okay to snarl at me as if I were the boss or the powers that be, but I know she knows I am not, because she feels safe snarling at me, when she wouldn't so much as squeek at one of the bosses. Just another day in Upside down Town. |

Good for you for walking away. Next time (sorry, there may be one) I hope you walk away sooner. Sort of like training her/him that it is falling on deaf ears....You are not the office punching bag, so don't take it. Not in your job description...right?!
I hope you have a great rest of the day ![]()

That is disruptive behavior. She is being agressive not assertive and should be confronted about how she deals with co-workers.
