I am a self-employed/freelance handyman and light contractor. I'm trying to focus on handicapped accessible refurbishments. There are a lot of guys you can call in my area who will build you a ramp on the cheap. Then you can call me so I can build you one to code and ADA standards, install handrails wherever they're needed, widen your doorways, and make your electric receptacles, light switches, cabinets, counters, and kitchen sink wheelchair accessible.

I work in retail doing markdowns. I've been there for over three months now. My employment history is unstable though and something I'm very ashamed of. In the past three years I've had more jobs than I can remember with my reasons for leaving each being just as different as the variety of those positions...

I'm making progress though. I won't leave where I'm at now until I secure something better. Always having to start over has done enough damage.
Thanks for this!

I am an Administrative Assistant for a water pump company. My boyfriend also works in the same place, as an IT manager. Job sucks and really aggravates my Bipolar.

... I don't have a stable job, at the moment. I take temporary jobs my aunt offers me at the local community college. I make more than working in retail and everyone I work with is fairly friendly. I don't mind that it's temporary too much.

I'm a medical assistant. I have days where I am so paranoid about making mistakes that I can hardly function.

I sit in a cubicle (I call it my coffin) all day and type as fast as I can while management sucks my soul. As of late I've been spending my evenings and weekends looking for new employment.

I just started a new job and I am freaking out about it. What if I make mistakes or no one likes me or I get fired? I hate the what ifs.

I'm 27 and I work for a temporary staffing agency. I'm bipolar so it's VERY hard for me to sleep before work. I was thinking about an online school but I don't know if I could do it.

I work as an underwriter in a property casualty/commercial lines insurance company. Additionally, I'm a visual artist (specializing in portraits, but I like to mix things up by creating cartoons and sci-fi themed artwork). And yes, creating artwork is much more engaging than insurance work as you might imagine, but hey, at least I'm not a starving artist!

I'm a wannabe graphic designer but have never really done well in the visual design, drawing or photography stuff. Not very good at web development either. Not good at anything.

Right now I'm doing a lot of website front-end administration...boring work.
