I don't know about everyone else here but I need my job because I have no one else to depend on, however, I'm so sad because I don't really have many friends or time to have fun. I'm starting to feel like I live at work. Like it is my only purpose in life and it sucks.

I'm like you; I need my job. My husband and I can't make on just his Social Security. And I hate my job, but haven't been able to find anything else that pays as well. When I get home I don't any purpose or life outside of work. So I understand a lot of what you are going through.

It is a lot better than being bored marginally employed and bored like me. It gives you something to get up to in the morning.

I'm really sorry that you two are stuck so to speak with jobs due to financial obligations. I have no clue how I was able to work so many years with my bipolar etc. And I think being bored beats living paycheck to paycheck forced to put your mental health aside bc your job is your life.
