with alchohol. But im not sure. I dont drink every day. I only drink llike once a month or so. But when I do.. I flip out (not violently just very sad and dissociative and sort of crazy)

Does this mean I have a problem with alchohol?

I might have a problem

I know people often self medicate with alcohol. Perhaps that is what you are doing. I don't really know for sure. Have you mentioned this to your t? He/she would know.

I think you are extremely brave for asking and wanting to know what is going on inside you.

Hugs,

Jan

Hello as you may know already I have been sober since Nov 9 1990. AA is one safe place I have. If when you drink it changes how U are in anyway then you may have a problem with alcohol. I know for me if I drink it affects me I do change. so for me I have to stay away from it.

It's not how often you drink, it's what happens when you do. If you don't like what happens when you drink, then don't. If you can't stand not drinking on those few occasions that you do, it might be more of a problem then you think. Just try quitting and see what happens. Keep us posted.
