Starting over on recovering right away instead of reverting to old behaviors is a big deal; it shows that you are still committed to the cause. Keep on keepin' on.

I miswrote when I last drank - it was last Wed., not Thurs. When I posted I was still really fuzzy from the hangover and extra clonazepam I'd taken to offset seizure risk.
So today is my 7'th day sober. Not a huge milestone, but I'm still happy. splitimage

7 days is a huge milestone. Everyday that you are drug and alcohol free is a huge milestone.

2 weeks down, and miraculously no cravings. I think the Antibuse is really helping with that, since I can't drink even if I wanted to.

I'll be checking into treatment tomorrow. Only have 18 inpatient days left withy insurance so I'll be there for only two weeks instead of the full 30 days. I can't seem to do it on my own at this point... I keep drinking ever 4 days or so... I'm so scared. I've never been to treatment.

Tonight makes one week alcohol free.
I did a little bit of cleaning tonight, wiped down the laundry room window ledge it was filthy!!!! and I also cleaned half of my bathroom floor which was very dirty, with hairspray. I washed the purple bath mat because it was matted down with hair spray as well. now it is clean and fluffy. I feel better about myself for doing these things.  bizi

Bizi, I'm taking pills. The shot isn't available in Canada. I wish it was, because I could then just get it one a month and not be able to drink, without having to remember to take the pill and without the temptation to go off it.

I am pretty bad at staying sober these days but I am planning on not drinking or smoking weed today. I have these slip-ups occasionally though most of the time I am sober. I should just completely quit stuff like marijuana and alcohol though. I think I'd be a lot happier without them.

Was not quite full from our light dinner so I had a half cup of almonds...It sounds like a lot but not really, only 6 carbs. Then I had 3 cups of hot tea. The tea filled me up. Loved the almonds though, the spicy wasabi ones are my favorite! Some where in there I want to go shopping at khols. I have 3 coupons burning a hole in my pocket! And I need to do laundry. bizi
