I went out to the woods near a cliff and everyone was smoking weed and drinking and I was just drinking. I passed out when I was nearly sobering up then woke up and took a Concerta for the hangover.

I feel a lot of anxiety from this. That's why I didn't smoke any more weed.

I was thinking of ordering Etizolam but I think I want to just ask my new psychiatrist for clonazepam to take when needed.

Because I can't stand the anxiety anymore.

I can't get CBD because it's too expensive but a smoke shop is going to open up in town in October...

I broke last night and I hated it. I've gone over a year without drinking and I'm so disappointed in myself for drinking half a bottle on Vodka.

I really thought it would feel like kissing my first love....

It just made me wake up early with a headache and

Welcome back 21SAB. So you relapsed, which isn't great, but you stopped quickly and jumped right back into recovery which is great.

Can you think back on your situation and feelings that led up to the relapse, and what if anything you could have done differently. That might help you avoid future relapses.

Be careful, you might finding yourself craving alcohol more in the next several days than normal. At least that's been me experience after a relapse.

Hang in there.

I hate alcohol. I'm never going to get drunk again.

The only time I enjoyed it was when I took 7 shots of whiskey when I was 16. I never felt such euphoria.

I don't know why I feel like I'm under water when I drink after that one time and that's about it. Everyone else loves it.

i would like to say a few things here if its ok. To the people who need a beer or drink to make them feel better, i think they need to start their day without one, trying their hardest not to have a drink. I used to drink everyday in college over 30m year ago. after that i stopped. i have to say now that my sobrity is my drunk. i drank so much at one point i would pray to be sober. Nature also came into my life when we bought a house in the

near countryside. then nature became my dunk too. There are so many triggers for drinking like tv commercials and bars on every corner in the city where i grew up. this makes me mad. i was taught by my typical irish parents that drinking is ok, which i don't believe it is, unless in moderation. i hope and praythat drinkiers can stop their addiction, they are missing on the sobrity high they can get. good luck

That's fantastic! Glad you posted; I was getting a little worried about what might be going on when you hadn't been on the board for a while!

Desoxyn,

Good for you for resisting. Every time you do that, you'll get stronger.

Today is day one. Last night after drinking half a bottle of vodka I told my girlfriend to pour the rest away and not let me buy anymore. I’m sort of regretting it, but I know I need to do it.

I am owning it, it was my choice, I said to pour it away. I just know that I need someone to help keep me on the straight and narrow. She wants to help and it would be foolish of me to not accept help because I know my willpower is nonexistent at times.

I am glad that she wants to help you.
hubby does not see it as a problem so does not help me with it. regulating I would resent him for it.
I wonder if this makes sense.

Well staying sober didn’t last long. I thought my detox was meant to start today, turns out it doesn’t start until August 13. And I was feeling ill, so yeah back on it until then I guess. I just wish they would let me start now but I guess they have their reasons. The levels I’m drinking means I’m at risk of seizures if I just stop hence having to wait for detox.
