Morning Anxiety

You put it perfectly Cyran0. Like you I wouldn't wish this affliction on anyone, but the sharing and caring of others in similar situations is very supportive, and many have benefited from new ideas on how to cope with it. It just seems so wrong that some people have to suffer when life is really short, ask a senior like me. This beautiful gift of life we're given and so much time spent suffering seems so wrong. Do you have an answer?

I'm afraid I don't muncie. Just seems to be how life is.

hi i am new to this place but i suffer from anxiety/panick attacks and lately i have been told i have accute agrophobia as when i am feeling very anxious (and i also suffer from depression) i do not want to go out of my 'safe place' my home. i also wake up my stomach is in knots as if i have an upset stomach im breaking out in sweats cnt breath properly and my mind goes into overdrive its almost like waking up and the first feeling i have is dread?? i do have issues to deal with that i have repressed from my childhood and early adulthood but never had i felt this way this started 2-3 yrs ago it gets worse and then gets better but i dnt do nearly all of the things i used to i used to love life going out doing things with friends etc etc but now its like i could easily become hermit. i have recently told my mother who lives 300 miles away about all of this and she is there to support me and i also have a counceler who is just brilliant and hse is there night or day for me to talk to sometimes just talking abot whats making you feel this way lifts the heavyness from your shoulders. i hope you can find something that eases how you feel.

Welcome Rose,

There are some very nice, special people here and they are very supportive and understanding people. You came to the right place.
All methods are shared and any suggestions are welcome.

Maybe if you tell the big black marshmellow that he is burnt and you would prefer a white one. LOL Tell him that just because someone overcooked him, its not your fault, you don't specialize in burning things.

Try to laugh as much as you can. Get some funny movies and watch them, some good comedies. A laugh can stop anxiety.

Still not vomiting so that's huge. I still have a lot of anxiety from day to day but I'm managing, ya know? I wish I felt good but for now I'll take what I can get.

sometimes i think about what i have to do the next day when i try to go to sleep. after a crappy night of sleep i wake up thinking about the same thing. i dont really think my anxiety is as intense as yours. sometimes when im anxious i think about how i would feel if i didnt do anything and stayed home all day. sometimes it helps. i hope you feel better.

I like that one. I mean it seems so simple but what a great thing to think about.
