Hello.. I'm new here,, But really need someone to talk with.
Been suffering anxiety, panic and depression for quite some time, but its really kickin in overdrive over the last 2 or 3 months now,, have terrible fears.. mostly about my health.. and Have almost every physical symptom you can think of.. The doctor gave me ativan, but it knocks me out... I now have xanax, but afraid of how it will make me feel.. anyone ever taken it,,

Hi and sorry you feel so down and tense
 The meds you can take less of maybe break them up if you get too sleepy..It does help a LOT with anxiety and panic both meds..I have taken both and they are a God SEND...take them...also UP in the drug area you will see a few threads on Ativan and Xanax

I take xanax. it works very well for me. i am so thankful that my doctor put me on it. xoxox pat

Welcome Iostone...you've come to the right place, the people here are incredible. I'm so glad I found this site. I know how you feel, except I haven't gotten professional help yet...so I can't comment on the drugs, but I just wanted to say Hey and welcome...I'm here if you need an ear...or an arm if you need a hand...or a foot if you need a lift...

Welcome to the forums. There are lots of good people here to talk with. It's a little slow today because of the holiday, but it will pick up again soon.
