Has anyone ever suffered from room spinning dizziness? The first time was a couple of months ago when I had gotten a sinus infection.. Now it keeps happening.. when I don't think about it, its mostly ok,, Could this be caused by anxiety???

That's a possibility, but it could also be a lot of other things. An ear infection, for example. You should definitely talk to a doctor about this.

Or a medication side effect.

I agree with getting in to see your doctor ASAP. Medications can also bring on enough anxiety to trigger panic attacks, and could be behind the breathing difficulties as well.

First thing to do is rule out side effects or drug-drug interactions. For that you need to see your doc.

Meanwhile, keep at the other suggestions - too shallow breathing could bring on dizziness.

Hi.....you really ought to see an ear nose and throat doc usually ROOM sinning dizzy has to do with the inner ear like labrythitis from your old sinus infection and they can help you rid of it....Good luck

Lostone,

I too suffer from severe anxiety. I know how you are feeling. I would get extremely dizzy with my attacks and I would also have blurred vision. I went to the doctor a million times and each time I was told I was "ok". Anxiety strikes at anytime, and can make us feel so many different ways. You can also do some research on anxiety attacks and the effects it can have on the mind and body. That may help put your mind at ease.

Take care.

Ok I didn't think I suffered from anxiety problems but this sounds really familiar to me...
