What would I do without my Xanax?

As sleepy as I get from it I am not sure what the heck I would do without it.

I wish my dr would give me some! they work wonders for sleep!

Yes it certainly does help with the sleep for me too bebop!
Sometimes panic attacks are so physically painful, it really helps.

me three, but then id argue with four of them over whether or not I was having a heart attack, even AFTER they had me on heart monitors, had done blood tests, and six other tests to prove otherwise

i'd argue when they said i should take three a day. i'd say that one is enough.. ......but i'd insist that they still refill my 90 a month bottle .........................i'm scared i'll get addicted and i'm scared i won't have them to take........how insane is that???????????????????????????????????????? my pharmacist dies laughing as soon as he sees me approaching the counter.

i have no idea what i'd without my xanax either. i'm suppose to take them 3 times a day but i don't because during the day i cut hair and i don't want to fall asleep doing a cut.

It has been a big challenge to do what feels like to me as turnig over that control to the Docs, but know that I have, It is working. I do not know how, well I mean I know the reason and process behind it but I could not mess with what they say to take. If I run into some crapyy pill or to sleepy med I say Hey fix so and so but I know not everyone is at a place where they can do that. My Pride got in the may too, You going to run my life and say two when I think one is ok ...that sort of thing I just got in such a mess I had nothing left but for them to find me the rigt combo....By the way yall are great, thanks for listning

I swear you and I are on the same page.... My doc's whine over my 'usage', however why do they write out RX's that allocate max 5/day? I could not live without it, I admit it freely to everyone, and ya know what - it's made for THIS reason so I don't understand why there is so much 'concern' for abusing medications that are meant to treat this disorder(s)!!!

They have seen what taking it away from me did - I ended up in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack; all found out it was bcuz of not having Xanax as the other meds are not benzo's that IMMEDIATELY act to get me/us 'down' to where we should be.....

As far as sleep, I wish they'd knock me out. I'm allowed to take 2 at night (totaling 4MG), but I rarely do that as I just get really groggy and don't sleep.... Plus, whenever i'm in a manic state due to the BP, I'm lucky if I get 3 hours of sleep - sporadically....

So again, I hear ya completely in regards to this med. No matter what I do though, I always have to 'hear it' each time i see the P-doc... So until they find another med that WORKS exactly the same as this one, they're going to be stuck with RX'ing the same.... I highly doubt that all doctors feel this way, as my regular doctor has no issue whatsoever, but for goodness sake - why make us WORSE instead of better???

I love being able to vent in here.... No one attacks you for being honest!!!
