<font color="purple"> I can relate... sometimes doing something for me helps me to refocus, something simple like a walk, or painting my nails, then I regroup and check out my list for the next thing i want to acomplish... sometimes it works sometimes it dont... I also find that fast paced music and speed dancing helps me to get it out too... depends on the anxiety I am feeling and what kind of tome I want to be in... I hope you find something that works for you! </font>

Well, I did a couple of things, but I'm still going in circles. At least I don't feel nearly as anxious as I did before.

yea I get this way but I figure if it did have to do with the house needing cleaning and so on then when I complete the housework then the feeling would have gone away, so when it doesn't I know the anxiey and unable to sit still feelings has nothing to do with whatever I was doing. So I load up my microsoft and floppy disks that I use for journalling and start free writing, then I do some art work and soon the real problem shows through. and then once I take care of that problem I an soon settled right in back to being calm and peaceful.

I use a technique recommended by my T called "The Script" - and it can be found in the book I placed in the Rate & Review section called: Feeling Buried Alive Never Die.
LoVe, Rhapsody - ((( hugs ))) PROCESSING FEELINGS WITH THE “SCRIPT - say this out loud.... Spirit, please locate the origin of my feeling(s ) / thought(s) of ________________. (a) Take each and every level, layer, area, and aspect of my Be-ing to this origin. Analysis and resolve it perfectly with God’s truth. Come through all generation of time and eternity, healing every incident and its appendages based on the origin. Do it according to God’s will until I am at the present – filled with: Light and truth, God’s peace and love, Forgiveness of myself for my incorrect perceptions, Forgiveness of every person, place circumstance and event which contributed to this feeling(s) / thought(s). With total forgiveness and unconditional love, I allow every physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual problem, and inappropriate behavior based on the negative origin recorder in my DNA, to transform. I Choose BE-ing _____________. ( b ) I Feel _____________________. ( c ) I AM ______________________. ( d ) It is done. It is healed. It is accomplished NOW! Thank you, Spirit, for coming to my aid and helping me attain the full measure of my creation. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you and praise God from whom all blessings flow. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + *Basically, use the same appropriate positive feeling on each of the three blanks to replace the negative feeling from the first sentence/blank. * * * * * * * * THINGS TO PONDER…. ** Memorize the “Script” as soon as possible so it is immediately available when you need it. Learn to be patient, never giving up – the shift within you will occur soon enough. ** It is essential that you mean what you say and say what you mean when you replace the negative with the positive, for the effectiveness of your process will be in direct proportion to the sincerity and intent of your heart. ** If you are unable to resolve the feelings right at the moment they happen, make a mental or written note of them so you will not forget what the feelings are. At an appropriate time, later in the day, you can process the feelings. ** You may say the “Script” out loud or silently – either way works. Ideally, a quite place where you can be alone and are able to relax is best, but if that is impossible, do what ever is the next best for you. ** Keep in mind that no matter when you are able to change the negative feelings to the positive, it will work. ** Do a mental sweep each night before you go to sleep. Think back over all negative incidents that caused you any hurt, pain or discomfort. Address and resolve them by taking them through the “Script.” ** The beautiful part about the “Script” … you can do it all by yourself once you have the understanding. You don’t have to depend on anyone else to help you. This gives you true FREEDOM. |

Hi Sept.,
Maybe you weren't anxious about getting it done in the first place? I can't imagine why you'd still feel anxious about getting something done even after it's been done. I've felt anxious about how I got something done or whether or not it was done correctly or if I'm doing too much or too little... It's done! Give yourself a pat on the back. ![]() |
