I have been suffering with panic attacks for the past month and a half and rejoined the gym about three weeks ago. I was guided by my cardiologist to "do what was comfortable" so I started by simply walking five times a week on the treadmill at a speed of 3.0. I have since increased my speed gradually to 3.4 adding a light weights circuit to my workout. This has been a comfortable workout for me and I monitor my heart rate regularly on the treadmill. I am wondering though when I could resume my normal workout e.g. spinning, kickboxing. After my workout my heart rate still remains around 95 -100 beats per minute for a long time, so I don't want to do anything that is dangerous to the heart. I have been on Lopressor for the past 5 weeks and this has helped to lower the heart rate considerably. Any advice?

Just don't overdue. Thta's the main thing. Now that you found out that your heart will palpitate like that, no exercising for very long.
Wishing you the best. Hugs, Boopers
