Oh how I can relate to your symptoms. I get all that plus shortness of breath and feelings of hyperventilating...followed by headaches. I am going to try to do the relaxation tapes and I also keep myself busy especially now that I am able to get outside. Raking, garden, lawn care.....anything that gets my mind of my insides.....
Good luck and hopefully you will find ways to cope with your anxiety...

Hello Rainbowzz! Good to see you. Dealing with the physical symptoms of anxiety

Coping strats for anxiety-

Distractions to take your mind off it like computer games, reading a book, listening to music.

Step outside for a bit and focus on everything around you, the trees, flowers, clouds etc

Buy a relaxation CD/tape and make yourself practice it everyday.

Slow the breathing down, cup your hands over your face and breathe steadily for at least ten minutes.

Self talk- I am safe now, nothing dreadful is going to happen, I can get through this........

Hope these tips might help. Dealing with the physical symptoms of anxiety

The new Dannon produces, especially Activia, have helped my stomach/intestines a lot :-) I was already eating yogurt for its soothing when I woke in the middle of the night so having a smaller portion with good enzymes for intestines helped stablize and make me feel better overall.

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad right now ... I wish that there were some way we could help to ease all of this for you. I don't really have any more input than what has already been said, but i just wanted to send good thoughts your way and hope that you feel better soon

I find that crossword or logic puzzles do a wonderful job for anxiety. They require so much focus that I can't really think about anything else. I always do two or three before I go to bed, just to make sure my mind is totally empty.
