Mmkay, so I wasn't able to tell you all that I was leaving for a mission trip and then guitar camp for a week each, but I am BACK! Bwa ha.

Anyway, I could really use some help. I'm currently on 150mg Welbutrin and 10mg Lexapro every day, and within the last month or so my anxiety and panic stuff has seemed to worsen. I've been on these medications for a while now, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that only now they'd start to negatively affect me... but instead of relieving the anxiety like they used to, I am now faced with a feeling of mild to severe overall anxiety and all-around physical "twitchy-ness" and discomfort associated with it every single day to a certain degree. While I was working my *** off on the mission trip it was okay, save for one panic attack that I managed to keep from everybody (yay free time!), but last week and today it's just been awful... I can barely do anything like this. Panic/Anxiety every day?? Why is it worse?

Any advice, all? Thank you so much!

Hi muse and welcome home!

I'm wondering if you may be in need of a med change or if all the work you have been doing has gotten to you a bit. Sometimes when we are in the mix of it all we get through it just fine, but after we are done the anxiety comes in.

Maybe you should call your doc and let him/her know whats going on. Since you have been on those meds for awhile, it may be that you need to increase the doseage for awhile to see if that helps.

In the mean time, I've found that when the anxiety hits me, I try to remember its only temporary and try to busy myself with something else to try to take my mind off it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But worth a try I think Panic/Anxiety every day?? Why is it worse?

Good luck hon....and take good care!

Hugssss

in the middle of night when I wake with disturbing thoughts,
it helps to get up, do something else, do anything to

change my thoughts,
eat something,
think about something else
find something positive
try to minimize whatever is disturbing
