I am in a bit of a pickle right now, I have always had random fear about stuff (I.e something behind the shower curtain or in the mirror) but it's my been a minor nuisence up til now. I work the nightshift and have been having fears of people watching me or that something is going to attack me, I have actually ran out of the men's locker room due to this fear, and I dread having to take the trash out. It doesn't help that I see stuff out of the corner of my eyes and start to overthink.
Is there an easy way to get over this, how can I stop overthinking about these thing so that I can work. |

Darkness, late evenings, nights, are particularly hard for me. I've recently had a realization that things are a lot easier during the day. So every morning I wake up with the first ray of sun, and boy does it feel good. There's a healing energy in the air, so palapable that you could touch it. I feel even my hardest days mellow out in the light.
Nights bring all kind of monsters back to life. All my fears, every bit of pain that harbors inside me comes alive at night. I guess what I'm saying is, if at all possible, work day shifts. We need all the help we can get, and sunny bright days, or even the cloudiest dark days are still far far better than nights. Give it a shot. And hang in there brother/ sister. #keepfighting Last edited by sunnydisposition; Nov 24, 2016 at 10:33 PM. |

Would it actually be possible for something or someone to even get behind a shower curtain without being seen? Can the mirrors actually be used for watching for things rather than trying to avoid them? Can you add a bit of song-and-dance as you work to occupy your senses with something other than silence or creaking pipes or whatever? Is your trash dumpster actually too smelly for people to be hanging around it? In other words, find ways to occupy your mind along the line of security rather than fear. |

Count up how many bad things actually came about in year,
then you know how many days you don't need to bother about in a year. |
