Zoloft as a side effect can cause anxiety. It's not that uncommon actually. I dealt with that as a side effect when I first started Zoloft.

Zoloft and I have never gotten along. I have heard from people that it has made them anxious which is ironic to me since it is suppose to be a drug for "Social Anxiety Disorder."
If the drug makes you uncomfortable then talk to your T. There are tons of drugs out there that can probably help you and not cause the panic attacks.

Zoloft is an Anti-Depressant (SSRI) Which is also used not just for anxiety and panic attacks, but depression, ocd, PTSD, SAD, ect not just for anxiety.

Lots of medication as a side effect have Anxiety as one of them, it definatly isn't uncommon.

I have a friend who has been having anxiety attacks since she was started on zoloft. Don't know if they are the cause except she had never had one before (but then, she had never been that depressed before either and sometimes the two go hand-in-hand - they do with me).

Anxiety and Depression go hand in hand with me too. I think they go hand in hand with alot of people. Everything just kinda snowballs.
