I always thought I had a bit of ADHD, but my depression was what finally got me to a Dr. She prescribed Cipralex for depression and my ADD symptoms disappeared. Does anyone know if there is a link? Has anyone noticed being more focussed and less forgetful on an SSRI?

Absolutely a link! Lexapro actually worked better for my ADD symptoms than stimulant medicine, but over time, the Lexapro seemed to take the "life" out of me and paradoxically, left me feeling depressed.
It "slowed me down" so the ADD symptoms disappeared but the slowing down process was not good for my psyche.
The stimulants agree with me more, but to answer your question, ig you notice ADD sympotms lessening, it is defintely due to the Lexapro.

I have very poor focus and attention sometimes, but haven't been diagnosed with ADD. I was on Lexapro for a while, and while it did take away *some* of the restlessness, it did nothing for my lack of focus.
Lexapro/Cipralex - does it work on ADHD?

I use it and while I do not have ADD I do suffer from constant intrusive thoughts and my mind running a muck all day long..... well, that was 4 months ago before I started the medicine, now I can stop and smell the roses.
