You know, I've always wondered, and had been told a couple of times that i have some of the ADD traits. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but reading articles about women with ADD, and it's like, "oh my god, that's me". Two out of three of my kids (both boys) have ADD, and I knew it was hereditary, but it never really hit home that they got it from me.

Hi JesseR

Welcome, I feel that alot of Mental Health are opening up to Adult ADD and as for me having Adult ADD, that it is something that can cause problems. I hope you can benifit by seeing a professional for an evaluation for Adult ADD and if diagnosed get support and treatment. Welcome to the forums, have a good day.

Welcome to the band wagon jessy. I was diagnosed with ADD about a month ago. After researching the disorder, I found that it so fit me. After 37 years of wondering, I finally know what is wrong with me and that I can do something to get better.

Find a good doctor who can help you. I did.
