I took a shower today!. number 2

Took a shower and washed my hair. Did not wait until I exercise to the point of sweating.

one week no shower but I showered tonight which I never do.
It went well. maybe I could just shower in the evenings, but
what to do with my hair???? I guess i could go to bed with wet hair???

It is my question, too. What to do with the hair. All the research shows that it is a good idea to shower in the evening because it helps you sleep via the mechanism which lowers body temperature following the shower (it is better to have a lower body temp when you need to fall asleep). But what about the hair??

I took my shower early enough that it had some time to dry without blow drying. I styled it a little bit and went to bed it was not to frightening when I woke up and I styled it pretty well.
maybe I could shower more often. I like my showers hot though.
I officially showered 11-12-23 pm. just to keep my self accountable.

That is OK to take them short. The body temperature falls after you have taken a hot shower.

I am shopping for gym membership. I have 8 options in my vicinity. For starters, I went to 24 hour fitness today and after cardio exercise on the machines, swimming, and a little jacuzzi/steam room/sauna, I took a long shower with washing and detangling my hair. It was pleasant. As I suspected, showering does not feel like a waste of time or an unpleasant chore when it is away from home and especially when it is after sweating.

I suspect that if I indeed start going to the gym 3 times a week, I will have this shower aversion problem solved completely.

A quick COLD shower! Cold because I did temperature contrasts after a workout at one of the fitness centers I am currently considering. I would go to the sauna, then into a cold shower, then back to the sauna, etc. I finished with a cold shower. I did not wash my hair, though. Yesterday I was at my hairdresser's and she washed my hair.

Came home from Orangetheory fitness, took a shower, washed my hair, put on a festive dress and went to the opera. Feeling squishy clean and pleasant.

I took a shower at Orangetheory fitness after class. I did not wash my hair and didn't moisturize.

I took a shower at home in the morning. It was difficult but I had to detangle my hair. When it gets to be a bird's nest, it cannot be brushed or combed but has to be detangled in a shower.
I did it and afterwards moisturized my upper body.
it is amazing how different taking at a shower at home versus at a gym is. At home, it is work and I have to force myself. At a gym, it is easy-breezy.

It is so peculiar how at fitness centers I have absolutely no trouble taking a shower and at home, it is still so difficult.

It has been too cold to shower of late (minus temps here), so I've just been washing, still cold even with warm water. I probably should shower soon though
