The anger and irritability stinks. Can you do something a little more physically strenous than a walk to release some of the energy and endorphins. I have found working on my ten kicks(I take kung fu) makes me focus and because I'm kicking and we smack our hands I feel as if I'm kicking something. Just a safer way than actually kicking something. Hope you are finally calming and don't do the si thing. It is extremely enticing but then you have to start counting your days of not siing over. Good luck

Just riding it out guys. Needed to vent where I'd be understood. I had planned to watch a comedy with my brother,but he was gone when I got home. Scared of snapping at my daughter so I'm hiding in my room smoking TOO MANY CIGARETTES! Ugh... WHEN WILL THIS TORMENT EVER END?

Sorry you are going through this.

I punch a pillow when I have rage and anger. It also might help to shout in the car where no one can hear you. Yell back at the bad thoughts and tell them to get lost.

Sorry you are going through what you are. I'm glad you are fighting off what your mind is screaming to do although I know it must be very difficult. I'm glad you are able to vent here. Wishing the best for you and this rage passes soon.

Take a COOOOOLD shower and stay there until you calm down. It works for me most of the time. It takes your breathe away and makes you breathe nice and deep. If not, do some vigorous exercise! Just burn off that anger. It helps. So sorry you are going through this!
