I felt so productive this morning and all afternoon I've been pretending that I was getting anything done. Went back and forth between crying and feeling like I didn't exist. Husband took his semi to his friends shop to work on it, gone most of the day, then brought it back jumped in his pickup and left without saying f-you or anything. Finally sent him a text asking if he knew when he might be home, got a reply that said "no plans", asked if that meant no plans when or no plans if? Got no reply to that one...been by myself ALL day and usually I don't mind, but seriously, I'm evaporating into thin air...

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Do you have someone you can call?

I'm sorry things are like this for you right now. That sounds very frustrating. I hope you get what you need to feel okay.

Thanks, guys..tried calling and texting my sister but she hasn't answered and lives 100 miles away. Update - he came home, barely talked to me, took a beer out on the patio, read the paper then got up and just left. Sent him a what the??" text, answer was "I'm gone" so I ask "for good?" answer "get my truck (semi) in the morning then off". Which means he'll be gone another month or more. And I have no clue if we're still together or not!

Arrghh!!!! Men drive me crazy!!! Why in the world did I ever think I wanted another one?!?!

PT - I read on another thread that you have made some progress toward getting another job or getting your job back or volunteering. Good for you!!! I would be way tempted to sit like a lump & do nothing. But of course that is what I have been doing on the weekends lately. Not good.

If you need to cry, cry, but remember how much you have done so far. That's great!

Keep us posted.

PT52; I'm sorry you are going through this. Just know you are a strong woman and you will get through this. Your husband appears to be suffering from the very common mental illness called F'in Douche Bag!

P.S. LOVE your new Profile Pic!

blueoctober, how come it feels like we've known each other forever! You know just the right thing to say and I like that...we can call it FDB right to their faces and they'll never know! "you know, I think maybe you suffer from FDB syndrome...oh yes, it's quite serious..." Ha!
dj: yes, I'm going to volunteer starting Wednesday with Operation Homefront (good to have a break from my pity party) and I find out tomorrow if this lawyer thinks I have a case. Think I'm all cried out, and the really sad part is that he's a wonderful loving man so much of the time, and his anger is so irrational..anyway I got tired of being a wienie and sent him a four part text that basically said quit blaming me for everything and do something about that anger issue!
OK, this is the first time I've smiled in two days...thank you everyone..

FDB syndrome.... I started laughing so hard that I had tears rolling down my face. OH, how I can relate. I spent yesterday being screamed and cursed at by my not-so-significant other. (Even at the point of separate bedrooms). Today, he made coffee and apologized for yesterday, then two minutes later, his ex-girlfriend called me to talk about some difficulties that she is having in her new relationship. Yet, he hit the roof because we HAD to be talking about him. Yeah, right, the world revolves around HIS belly button. AACCCKKKKKK. Thinking about converting to Catholicism and becoming a None... oops Nun.
pkt
PS, I didnt mean any offense to anyone Catholic.

PT52 I am really sorry for what you are going through. There is nothing like a cold shoulder to really piss you off. Some men just need whacked upside the head a few good times. I hope things get better for you.

Dear forum readers that happen to have XY chromosomes,
I think I can speak for all of us girls when I recognize that females are just as capable of FDB sydrome as any male. Don't worry, we are not forming a lynch mob coming after anyone with testicles.
Fear not!

So true PTK! I am a fan of men and women, but not those with an acute case of FDB Syndrome!
