Gosh Thanks you guys for all the hugs! Still having a hard time of things right now. Hopefully it will be overwith soon. I knew something had to be up with last week being so good and up. I just hate feeling this way is all. Stupid disorders!

Sorry this really stinks when it happens, I just keep telling myself it will pass, stay on the meds, keep the faith, and that helps me sometimes. Just talking to someone who "really" knows what I am feeling, is an enormous help. But, if it doesn't pass, and I start to feel scared that I am really falling, I call my pdoc., knock on wood, I haven't had to call him. But I confess, I do get weepy days and some tearfull nights, when I put my head on the pillow to sleep, that is hard to deal with, especially when I really feel tired. The mind races, well, you know how this goes, but know we are all here, pm any of us, sometimes we can actually talk one another through low times, almost like walking and holding someone's hand. I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a hard time, if it's any consolation...we've all been there and pulled through.
I'm sure that by now you know the ups and downs of bp. You know that the higher you go...the harder we fall. It's important that you create a fall place to fall when the down cycles begin. By that I mean, what are your comfort places, your comfort movies, your comfort music, your comfort foods (but not too much bad stuff, lol). When you are not in such a low place...create this soft place to fall in preparation for the inevitable. Don't be afraid to reach out for help, open up and hear what works for others. We are all individuals with different comforts. Figure yours out and the down cycles might not feel so all consuming and devestating for you. I know that when we get into this space we are not necessarly looking for advice or attempted solutions for the feelings you're experiencing...but you've received lots of hugs from others and I offer one too, but I would be remiss to at least not offer some forms of coping skills. DE and TrgsPurr~ I am sorta overwhelmed here with your thoughts and suggestions. I love my T but he has not been able to help me at all with this part of my problems. I never even knew to think of any of these things! This is so nice. My pdoc is fairly good at things but the medications now that the SAD has set in I dont think are effective enough. I see him Wednesday so I am hoping we can get something changed here. And I have a book about Bipolar Disorder by Psychology Today that I am trying to read. But I am not getting to it like I should. Much like everything else in my life. I can see why some people lose faith in me so quickly sometimes. Heck I've lost it in myself much of my life too. Whats the difference if they have?Sorry. I just feel like crying And I cant cause I need to keep it together right now while hubby is home. Thanks again so much for everything. When I can look at this and am ready to absorb it all , I will certainly try to come up with a plan. TY!!!

Well I went to see my pdoc today. He believes from how my moods are going bonkers now that I am bipolar. The cyclothymia was just a precursor to this happening. So he doubled my Topomax but left my Cymbalta the same. I go back to see him in 2 weeks. I hope this works.I dont like feeling like I am slipping like this. I want to be the happy , giggly, helpful , caring and supportive Bethy that I hope all of you can count on me being, yeah including myself. Thanks always for your kind words and support !

Ohh Gosh Julia I am so sorry. I know its a rough road to travel. Hopefully things will work out for the both of us eh? And we got a few good people here to learn from on how to deal with things so thats gotta help too I think. Hang in there ok? Takecare!

Julia~ We all are learning it yet . Your not alone. I still dont understand alot of things yet myself. I recently went and got a book on Bipolar by Psychology Today. I am hoping that gives me some insight. I think doing a journal is going to be one thing I will need to do to keep track of whats going on for me. Cant hurt right? I know its scarey , this new stuff is. Maybe we can help eachother if its ok with you? Just a thought. Take care and keep your chin up ok?
