Yip that's right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No this was before I told them I had an episode on the 7th Jan.

I had a meeting regarding 2 risk assessments for me for when I am manic and depressed. My Area Manager has said she can not have me in work when I am like that as I am caring for people with Autism and my moods are so unpredictable. We sat and spoke and I gave her permission to write to both my GP and Psychiatrist and get a report from them. She has told me I am now officially on special leave which will be noted in work as annual leave and this will be for at least 2 weeks but could be longer. I am so upset and anger. I cried. All I have done is cry.

I dont want this anymore... my life is more complicated then ever before and now I feel like the world is saying I am ill. No one see's the fact that I have been fine and have dealt ON MY OWN with the hypo-mania.

I feel like my life is f£$%ed up

Had a sleep for about 2 hours which is fine... feeling a bit better but still angry. Haven't even been able to read the notes I was given nearly 7 hours ago. Everytime I think about it I wanna be sick

((((((((((((Laura)))))))))))) I'm really sorry Do you have another appointment lined up with your psychiatrist?? Maybe if you think of using this time off work to really try and get your medication sorted out (not that you haven't been trying already. I don't mean that. But perhaps now, without the stress of work, it might be easier to explore some other medication possibilities??)

Big hugs to you (((((((((Laura)))))))))))

Try the Dialectical Behavior Skills Workbook; it has a lot of good information, and it also has exercises that will keep you busy.

So sorry..! I have the Bipolar Workbook - it's interesting and full of little exercises and templates to fill in.
I'd also recommend sorting your meds out with your pdoc. See if you cannot get an emergency appointment earlier - it really is kind of an emergency, as it's putting your job at risk

Sweetie I am so sorry this has happened. I hope that the time off will give you a good break though - and you can get some rest. I know it will suck and that the whole time you will be anxious and pissed abut the job, but PLEASE try to use it to take care of YOU because there are a whole lot of people that really care about you and would LOVE for you to take care of YOU too.
