Thanks Dubblemonk, I just feel that Im broken. I guess your right though something is wrong but its not me. I guess this is part of being a looney toon but at least it can be fun some of the time. Im still unfortunatly thinking about cutting again. Ugh Ugh. ITs funny my parents are oblivious and they say they are really good at reading emotion. I must be one hell of an actor.

Well my parents found out about my cutting i mean its been pretty obvious and I started bleeding in front of them awkward. But anyway they want to help me but I dont think they know how. I dont know how to help myself. So Ill be on the forums all night as Im wide awake right now anyway and wont be able to sleep for a while. Ill be here to give bad advice. lol

I've never felt a need to cut so excuse me if my idea is off but can we try a contract between you and this board? You to agree not to cut and we to provide support.

I suppose I can do that. Its worth a try. Ill do what yall say as long as I can get continued support. You guys/gals are super helpful and I dont wanna lose that.

i once read to use a red felt pen instead of cutting. it is supposed to give some satisfaction being the red color.

seems like the focusing on homework issue comes up a lot, have you ever been dx'd or tested for adhd? undx'd adhd causes horrible anxiety and depression and low self-esteem. it does occur along with bp, not totally uncommon - i have both. both of my older kids have both. just an idea.

Ill ask about it because its kind of why I failed a year ago just couldn't do it and I'm running into the same problem again, in kindergarten the teach said I needed to be checked but my parent blew it off so I've never been tested . good, check it out cuz that might be something going on too. usually no tests for an adult add dx (maybe a quick test idk), you just tell pdoc about symptoms, stuff from kindergarten, whatever, and they decide if you should try the med. then if you do try it you know right away if it helps.

Well, I dunno we have had someone else make a contract on here before, I think it's a good idea if the sense of accountability will help. As long as it doesn't just add stress. But what to do if you mess up, well we are not gonna just stop supporting you either way. So maybe like you have to call your pdoc or something, Since your T is away. But I think you have to decide that one.

You can write the contract up as a separate thread and check in on it everyday, we can check in on you am try to encourage you and support you there.

Try coloring. I know it sounds stupid but it calms my anxiety, makes me zone out and keeps my hands busy.

I do too, that's a good idea, or lego, I get totally lost in it for hours.

Ill make the contract soon I had to it today! I mean my anxiety was through the roof, my grandma was going off on everyone so I went up to my room trying not to cut waited a while all thy jazz but I still felt the need to cut so I did 10 times in all. My parents know about it so I just let it bleed a while they where not happy but understood. We are working on this and I called my pdoc told me to take more risperdal that has done nothing. Ugh I may ask for a prn for these situations. This sucks sorry if I let anyone down.
