He told me to take the Ethipramine at night for 2 weeks, if it doesn't help me relax in general, he'll give me Ativan. He says I need to be more relaxed coz being so tightly wound up exacerbates the pain...

Do you have access to a pool? I go to a warm water pool that is designed specifically for people who need rehabilitative aquatic exercise. I mean, I just use it as a pool, but others go to special classes and use special floating devices and resistance training devices and what not.

Fibro sucks ! The flares come and go for most people. Stress is a huge factor in your pain level. I'm glad you found a doctor that is HELPING you, finally.

If there is a hot springs near you, that is always good. There are two where I live and both have healing properties. Something about the mineral water. Haven't been for many years, tho.

I'm ok Jamesy spent the day mostly watching pilot episodes. Apparantly I will be watching 'Shameless' , 'Franklyn & Bash' and 'Sanctuary' along with 'Lie to me' which I started the other day... This week at home was good for my psyche, but I honestly dont want to go back to work Monday, But maybe its just the rebel in me acting out coz I dont have a choice... How are you?

you just be testing out the limits Lia honey...and finding out they aint so terrible?...

since I known you you never took time out for you and filling in the gaps?...."lie to me"...I enjoyed that show..

but it's more than that...it's about 'equalizing' with the world around you...

otherwise you will destroy it halfway past it tried to burn you...

sometimes especially it's important to let the questions fly!...

like ..WHAT?...and ...WHAT FOR?....

this happens when we get dis-spirited!....and you Lia...are easily distracted when you lose HEART!.......

me too

you tell me time after time! let future James deal with it...

allow future Lia deal with it! ..you know she will

...I'm ok I think....very transparent right now....

and it's ok to say "I don't know"...

lv, J

The constant low-grade burning has subsided immensely looks like I wont need that skeletal transplant afterall, especially if Dr can find a way to make my spine stop feeling like its so taut it may crack!

I don't know... I am still trying to figure it out too. I can't change it.. I mean I can try to make it better, but I guess I still have to work on acceptance of it.

How did he come to the conclusion of fybro? Whatever it is I am really sorry you have to live with it. I always try to figure out why is this suffering coming to me, to which maybe there is no real answer. But OMG I am not going to suffer this much and not get something out of it. So even if I have to dig for something that I can take away from it, I guess it makes it easier for me to go through it.

Mindfulness of the pain.. ya still working on that one too.

I don't have a lot of answers for this one either. I am sorry you are facing this sis... Well we will get through it together at least.

He just asked me to describe it, when it started, when it flares, if I have any other medical symptoms. Then he kinda bent me into a pretzel, this way and that to exclude muscular pain... He said we share alot of symptoms and that he went abroad after his dx to study fibro coz not much is known here. Mindfulness, I have to start working on that more intently, and you're right, we can get thru this together
