Was really cranky and opted out of family beach day, and for some reason unbeknownst to man decided to spring clean instead no im not in the slightest hypo, that would've helped tho. Guess I didn't want Jordan to think I bailed for no good reason, she was upset with me... My nose is irritated from all the dusting, scrubbing and sweeping, I haven't even started the bedrooms yet!! Urgh, what have I gotten myself into, I cant stop until I'm thru, not in my nature.

I am sleepy but can't sleep. Busy but unfocused. Sad but anxious. Started Abilify about two weeks ago and having periods of mania and then periods of stability. Anyone else experience this or know when the ride will end? I'm at my wits end.

getting past yet another episode
I actually used to think that they were normal
that they were other peoples fault

growing up I used to think that they were normal reactions
that they were because of me not doing the right thing

i grew up thinking that I failed when they happened
that I deserved it
that I deserved what was happening cuz i must have caused it

i would try so hard to not mess up again
to keep the 'episodes' away

but now I know that I didn't deserve them
but it doesn't make the episodes any easier to deal with

on the contrary... they were easier when I blamed others
when I didn't know what was going on

now... I have no one to blame
but this mental illness...........

Yip, christmas is in the heart of summer here. Beaches are lovely, even in Winter, altho I wouldn't dare swim, I'm a baby where the cold is concerned, would probably die in the snow The beach is horrid during our windy season tho, this being the Cape of Storms and all

Been cleaning for 5 hours straight, finally took a break to eat, just a pie and glass of coke. After my break I can do the bedrooms and then I'm going to relax in the bath, and have a boerewors roll and Coke for supper Hope my mom likes a spring-cleaned house...

Seems the beach is on alot of people minds here lately.Does sound really nice, though, here in the south we have rather mild winters until Feb, then in march the Spring comes.Once we see the Jasmine Bloom, we know its here.Im looking forward to that.
I once meet a man who had just came back from the States from Africa. He said for once in his life he understood what it meant to be on the bottom of the food chain.. lol I wonder what part of Africa he was at.....

It's ok wild we all or at least I've done that several times. But today is disappointing I have not had a manic episode in forever and it's really bothering me I want that so bad but my meds are keeping me to stable. Normal is boring maybe ill quit my meds.

I miss my manic days too, I loved them, but my friends didnt like them so much..I liked to mess with them really hard..just this side of legal..they named me that for a reason, really they did.
Thak you for responding, I thought I was getting outta line there for a minuet. This is why I isolate at times, being this is my very first Christmas without my dad, laughter has been nice.

It's made it to the high fifties, winds about 10 and Gulf's at 60. Nice enough for winter here but not to help me deal with the anger.
Back to my cave. Neighbor helped me get fireplace going.

Feeling some anxiety today. I don't feel like being alone and my wife will be gone with the kids for some time. Other than that somewhat stable. As written on another thread a little mania would come in handy to get some things done.

Summer holiday is braai (bbq) time, braai culture is huge here, we even have an annual boerewors championship, so yes, eating outside is the norm during summer. Even Christmas lunch, we sit outside under the veranda and have our meal there, or on the deck around the pool. I'm skipping Christmas this year tho.

I'm in a pretty good mood. Laughing at inappropriate things today too! What are the odds.

My favorite trilogy is on, so I ordered food, ditched the chores and am going to sit back and enjoy myself today. Nothing is going to bring me down! A bit manic in my head today, but not my actions.
