I just joined PC today and I'm hoping I can feel like I belong. I have Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety. I am sad ALL THE TIME. I question myself all the time if this is how my entire life will be. I didn't choose this and I don't want this. I'm soooooo jealous of everyone else in my life...life just seems so effortless for them (even though I know they have struggles too). Its like I have constant blinders on and I can't take them off. I hate taking medication, but I know I'll never be able to stop. I just want to feel normal...

Hi Sassy, welcome to PC.
![]() What I've learned is that the majority of people have problems in one way or another. It may not be obvious but everyone has to go through something that is not fair and really hard. Going around with blinders on really impeads working toward wellness. But, it's also a depression thing. Depression clouds the mind and makes it hard to see things for what they really are. It does get better. The truth about bipolar is there is always another cycle. You're not alone, we've all been there and a lot of us will probably be there again. ![]()
