So my pdoc is having me lower my risperdal from 3 mg a day to....
Week one-one in morning and at night Week two-one only at night Week three-stop completely I'm on week two and I'm thinking that is what's causing the irritability. Anybody else wean off risperdal? Did you have w/d symptoms? |

I just talked to her nurse. She is having me go back up to 2mgs a day.
One in the afternoon One at night I felt really stable at that dose. I'm sticking with it at least until I see pdoc again. |

I've not taken risperdal, but yea sounds like need to taper more slowly, sorry you're going through it too lady
![]() My older son has a breast growth from risperdal - it's known for causing that in young boys - he was on it around age 12-13... Poor guy 17 and he's so skinny you can see it through his shirt ![]() Take care, stay calm and turn up the tunes ![]() |

![]() Glad you saw the T, that's a good idea get yourself stable first... but isn't it all so tied in together? I'm not ok when my kids aren't ok... ugh the impossible. I'll have to think about that idea today. ![]() |
