My days have been following a pattern of depressed in the morning and hypo at night. At least I can say the meds seem to be making the ends less extreme. I just wish the anxiety would go away. I have so much on my mind...I am worried about my mom and my brother, about how they will react to us moving out in the next few months. Worried about my work evaluation next week. Worried about the new lesson plans. Worried about finances. Etcetera.

A line from a song keeps going through my head: from a sunrise to a sunset, you're either manic or you're depressed, will you ever be ok?

Will I ever be ok? I want normalcy back. Maybe moving out will help. I guess I can't worry about my emotionally disturbed brother when I can't even manage myself.

Just felt the need to write. Thanks.

That sounds like a lot of stuff. My mixed states are quite similar. I do this a lot! I worry about everything from early childhood all the way until now and the future! It's exhausting! The best thing I have found is DBT and to study mindfulness. Being here in the moment will help with that. It takes practice, but is something that is possible and may help you.

Hang in there, WFC. You will be okay. Try not to focus on "normal." There's no such thing as normal. Even people without bipolar are not normal and don't lead perfect adn rosey lives. Instead, focus on wellness. Whatever that means for you. Focusing on wellness will help you achieve your goal much more than trying to fit into that box labeled "normal."

Damn I am depressed again today. Four days of baseline now back down. Forced myself to get work done at least.
