Are your therapy? What type? How often? What are your goals? Are they mostly BP related?

I go once a week. My therapist is into a lot of alternative practices, which I like a lot. Currently we're working on the Emotional Freedom program. My goal is to develop a set of habits and behaviors which support my stability.

I go once a month for 30 minutes, there's really no goal now it's just to check in since it's required at the clinic I go to if I'm on medication. I'm very stable now.

I go once a week now for an hour. We haven't officially set goals yet. In a figuring out time. I like it there because if is a whole person and belief system clinic. I have never had any success with therapy but I do like it there.

Right now I just go to marriage counseling. We were going about twice a month, we've just 'graduated' to once every other month. We work on communication, mindfulness, and respect of ourselves and each other.

I am looking into going to personal therapy because I still feel that my emotional instability needs are not quite met.

I go to psych nurse once a week to discuss where I'm at and coping strategies specific to bipolar. I see a psych councillor about once a month to work on overall life skills. My goals? To let go of the past and its baggage and cope with right now.
I would like to do some group therapy but closest group is 100 miles away.

Because of my PTSD diagnosis, I'm being sent to trauma counseling in the future.
Right now my pdoc doesn't think I'm stable enough on my meds to do it.
But I'll let you know how it goes.
