Positive things that I've done today #2

Cleaning. Got my mom and my younger brother coming over in a few hours. We're going to hang out and color eggs. They're going to stay the night. Then got my older brother and his family coming over for brunch tomorrow. Can't wait to see me nephews (they live in another state). Then tomorrow evening will be going to my dad's for dinner. Busy weekend for me surrounded by family.

Well, as of right now, the most positive thing I've done today is that I went to the dentist.

I hope I can come back with a something more interesting. I am grilling steak tonight, that's always a winner.

On a side note, my choppers are in good shape in case anyone was wondering!

Went shopping & finally used my xmas gift cards-got some nice stuff & only spent 9 real dollars Ran errands with my hubby, did laundry, made potato salad for tomorrow & fixing to start Hunger Games marathon

tried to stop worrying, going for a run this evening

I showered, ate, pruned rose bush, pulled weeds, changed bed, and am doing laundry.

Had a nice chat with the father of my sons friend. Such a nice guy.

Applied for a new job! Shhh

Ate a salad, washed dishes, did more laundry, sorted some papers.

Spent an entire day with the in-laws and family without crying or uncontrollably shaking because of nerves. Leaving it at that, because I want to keep this post positive.

Washed towels, bedding, changed the mattress around now to take a long soak in the tub with scented salts and candle.

Considered the possibility of going to the dental clinic as soon as I possibly can.

I'm liking myself. Me, coffee and a day off. There's no pressure to do anything, my mind wanders off to places where things are just funny and interesting enough to my liking. The moment is precious.

Let my FOO come over for Easter dinner. I actually handled it OK.

I've been listening to some great tunes I love them

I took my car to the mechanic to be fixed. At this point, I guess I will have to walk back to get it (5 miles=2 hours).

I'm making a lentil soup which is making the house smell really nice. Yesterday I went on a cleaning binge, making up for the mess that happened while I was depressed for a few weeks. Planted pansies outside. Just taking it easy, enjoying this new found energy I have.

I've been depressed & isolation for over a month now, but pushed myself to return to one of my regular AA meetings today. After feeling self-conscious about returning, turns out folks were happy to see me. It reminded me of my dark thinking when I'm depressed. I feel a bit better having gone.

Went to the market, played with the kitty & helped my Mom with some computer stuff.

Drove the hour there and back to drop the car off for service, did the dishes, did 2 loads of laundry, job searched online

I went to see my Pdoc and told him how Ive really been with this mania. He changed my meds. Im not sure I want a higher dose of zyprexa. Its causing weight gain already.

Picked up my meds and bought some half priced peeps and other easter candy.

I stepped out the front door today. Proceeded to have a tire blow out on the freeway on the way to work, but managed to get home all right with another tire. I handled the ordeal well.

I managed to drag my butt out of bed this morning, which doesn't sound like much, but required a lot of resolve. I've been sleeping a lot the past several days, so I'm trying to count the small blessings. If I can get out of the house today that will be a great accomplishment -- although I know that, too, ain't a major deal under normal circumstances.

Went out by myself this morning & ran some errands, made breakfast with my husband, had some anxiety issues today but managed them with deep breathing & Tension Tamer tea (& extra Chamomile)
